A word on the inventory build from 2010 to present: 1. The average seasonal inventory build during this week is 53 bcf; the previous minimum build was 27 bcf and this week was only 10 bcf - lowest in the series. 2. Inventory builds are seasonally positive from April 9 to November 19; so an inventory increase is always expected during this time. 3. The average inventory build has been below the seasonal average every week since May14 shortly after major NG producers like CHK said they would cut production. 4. Around July 20 has been a typical soft spot for prices. I can only speculate on the price drop but I would consider 2 factors: 1. Inventories starting the shoulder season from an already high level (only 2012 and 2016 were higher as of April 30) and 2. A slow down in the economy which would lower demand from industry.

Defies logic. If silver has an increased demand, say toward EOY, why is the future price so smacked? December 24 futures are almost the same as the current spot price. There is a Puppet Master somewhere when basic supply and demand economic principles go against the Macro assuming mining and Silver Institute numbers are accurate. I'm probably just as frustrated and many silver investors waiting patiently for her value to rise. IMHO. if the S&D metrics are correct, why can't silver at least stay above $30/oz as its bottomline, push the price and act like a true, in supposed demand commodity. Nevertheless, a store of value against my USD savings a year, decade or any future duration is almost not worth the risk. Gold$$$

I like the fact that you hit the hammer on the head. Id rather buy a couple of ounces of silver than spend it in a casino. I have started back stacking and purchased abut 100 or more ounces. Everytime i get paid i spend some on silver. Its like a rush like you said. However, there are other rules you touched on. Purchasing precious metals keep me calm. I hold it and own it.
