I'm running a 5700x3d and 5700 xt with 64gb ram and a few SSDs and HDDs. Powered by a 450w corsair PSU. some games pull 425W consistently, and every now and then the pc shuts down without warning. When I run prime95 and furmark it hits 550W while the CPU and GPU are both undervolted. I'm sure it could reach 600w at stock voltage. It crashes after about 30 seconds at 550W. New PSU is being ordered lol.

Hehe. I got it for 13.99 and at 50% off, shipped to my door for under $8. I really like it, and not too picky about my keys to notice mushiness. It's quiet enough to have my microphone on the desk in front and still game while using mic. It's stuff enough for what I use it for. I was going from a Corsair mechanical keyboard that had a running spacebar and just couldn't be bothered to spend more money to replace it.

am3+ motherboards are broken from all manufacturers but intel i7 920 intel i7 950 processors have a bloomfield core made on intel core 2 quad Q9705 only the price in the store differentiates these two processors therefore intel core i7 970 processor gulftown core is more efficient

It depends,yes it is bad for some games on other hand some work good. So i paired this one with RX 580 huge bottleneck,but hey. Dota,CS,Fortnitne is unplayable barerly reaching 30fps On other Hand Diablo 2 Ressurected works perfect with ultra settings on 1080P It is bad CPU rlly bad 2 core with 4 threads....and heats like furnace. Just get FX 6300,or 8320E if your Mobo is limited with 95W CPU.

Was about to say, clean up your cuts, but not having a dremel is explaining why. Those things are a godsend for that kind of work. I would think a slightly bigger cooler and a fan running slower would give a better cooling/noise ratio. On that particular board, I'd say the SATA ports are blocking a lot of the air going to the cooler. So a cooler that has the ribs rotated 90° together with a fan blowing air in that direction would help already.

So in otherwords i should be good only starting the windows to test my rx 6900 xt with 600w to see if it works

So two days in a row my PC restarted on its own. 2 times it happened while playing MW3 warzone. Once was on the desk top when I opened Steam. System is a 5800X3D, GPU is a 6950Xt. PSU is an 850W gold. Something is going on but I dont know what. I monitor the Temps and the temps all appear to be pretty Low… any thoughts? 850w “should” be enough for the system… but maybe its not?

I had one of these in a Dell pre-built back in 2009, it was only £300 at the time to buy separately I believe, played so many great games with it, I used to pay around £1 per game on dvds, this was before steam was a big thing, a couple years after, when the 1080 ti came out, that's when I remember prices started getting a little bit insane, & now it's just totally ridiculous, haven't bought a new video card in about 7 years at this point
