OHH YES exactly ohh my god. there was a chance to have a crazy buildup, show how close they were (especially since he was a new character who was supposedly apollo's best friend) and then it would have made his death that more impactful but instead they just didn't and i will NEVER understand why. actually insane
@@beekats they could have him interact with Athena and Apollo during their cases to! They could have some amazing banter between them and then have clay’s death be more impactful on Apollo AND Athena. And in the DLC case since Apollo isn’t there, they could say Apollo is hanging out with clay during the case.
@@beekatsthis is literally the reason The First Turnabout exists. Shu Takumi said in an interview that he made the case because without it Turnabout Sisters wouldn’t be impactful to the player.

@@beekats I have several gripes with Dual Destinies and that’s one of them. Monstrous Turnabout should’ve been replaced by a case featuring a living Clay if they wanted to do this story.
