Looks good, so if you don’t have a prep box you’ll need that white remote to pair them with the app/setup for Crmx
The notations are a bit confusing. During the section of the video where you are doing it with DHCP plugging into a network with internet access, it says at the side "using the Web Interface - Works with firmware 1.17 or newer". So does it need FW 1.17+ to install the update by connecting directly to the internet?

Cool it’s water proof, but how often do use a bulb in the rain? Feel like this is super niche situation. For the price point rather stick with the other brands.

Everything is better than the previous version EXCEPT it loses the old power station battery option ? :( What if I need to use these on location ?
It can still be connected to the app, so set it up that way, or do you mean you want the option to power it?
Hello! The LunaBulb is designed to be used in studios or on location, using AC-wired bulb sockets - the multiple users who participated in the development preferred to have a bulb that looks exactly like a bulb with an output equivalent to a 25W tungsten bulb, instead of reducing the output or increasing the size to make it battery-driven. However, it could also be operated at 48VDC, provided that you have a battery and a way to connect it to the bulb socket. The PrepCase and the PrepInlay for LunaBulb are battery-operated, facilitating the setup of LunaBulb when AC is not available.
Yes you can also connect them to the AsteraApp and set it up this way!

The big question is, how do i get v5.14. Because the current App (Android) only says the up-to-date version is 5.12.96 Even though the App version is v12.11 and in the Release Notes there is some written about the ARC3.

I just bought the White Remote, and it doesn’t work. Both my app and lights are up to date, 5.12.96. Don’t know what’s going on here. The FX Remote works fine, but not the White Remote.

Never got this to work for 4 Astera NYX bulbs using the Astera App, Ratpac Satellite and Luminair. Super frustrating.

I don't have the bounce option in my layer geometry window. Updated to latest version, still no luck.
Looks like it works if I click the place it is supposed to be but no bounce arrows.

I'd love to see Astera make a similar Leo/Pluto light with a separate power supply/internal battery. Maybe even modular, with the option to attach or detach the power supply/internal battery and connect a head feeder cable to the lamp head. This would be a great way to lighten the weight of the head for menace arm and other rigging.

App does not work without the box
As far as I know all of the recently released fixtures have the BTB (Bluetooth-Bridge) embedded so you can connect the app via bluetooth to your first light wich will then take the role of the AsteraBox and connect via UHF to the rest of your lights. Look at the Product page for the BTB Logo or check the manual to find out if your Astera Light has this feature.

Hi, could be that you already rented a fixture with BTB, then it is not necessary to use the AsteraBox in this case, yes!
Rental company said the lights don't need the box anymore....app never works

Thanks for your message and sorry for the late response, The Astera Pluto and Leo use the same Titan engine RGBMA array as in TitanTube or LunaBulb. All our Titan-based fixtures have an approx. SSI score of 86+ at 3200K, considered to be really high for a LED light source. We don't include SSI scores in our photometrics despite of our high quality, due to the pending need of a full standarization of SSI, as this is a relatively new way of measuring color rendering and it doesn't necessarily reveal how good the lighting product will behave for all camera sensors.

My ART7 won't show charging status and then all lights on the readout come on and stay on except DMX. Some are dim, some aren't. What's going on? How can I reset it and get it to charge again?

So in the tutorial at 5:38, is your iPad connected to the Stardust, and using that transmitter to pair the lights? Or is there a different Art7 the lights are paired to?
Hi and sorry for the late reply, The iPad is not paired with the stardust but paired to an ART7 to be able to do the necessary configuration with the AsteraApp.
