I love <metallica til 91 and really like Jason's performances. He was a great replacement for the band. But, if these are a compilation of his best moments, "My friend of mysery" should ve been left out. He's out of tempo and many notes don't sound consistent (I don't know how to say "trastear" in English. The frets of th bass ain't in their best condition.

My nephew & I were in THIS VIDEO, Jason's last performance as a member in FTB in 2000, LA, Shrine Auditorium Parking Lot for the VH1 Awards. All those 50 or so people around the parking lot were all MetClub members. I met Sebastian Bach that day, he was there! My nephew & I were "first in line" watching the Road Crew set up like in the middle of the day. The James' legendary good luck Marshall amp was there, a few feet away from me. Other MetClub members came from FAR, one dude literally flew in from Texas. My nephew & I had red devil horns on our heads. BEFORE the show, the ONLY MetallicA members that came out to meet & greet was JASON! Got his autograph, my nephew got pics from the Road Crew. They sat him down ON TOP OF THE ORANGE MUSCLE CAR. Before FTB, MetallicA warmed up with So What! [not televised, obviously]. When Lars came out he was smoking a cigarette, the first time I saw him smoking, so the cover of Garage, Inc of him smoking was not a "staged" photo, he actually smoked (not sure if he still does). I wish this video you made also had Jason singing full lead during the Summer Sanitarium Tour 2000. I also wish this video had Jason singing in Whiplash! I also wish this video had Jason playing guitar on Am I Evil?

I’m just gonna say it, Robert killed Metallica, Jason didn’t just keep it alive he fuckin super charged them

To me Metallica will always be James, Lars, Kirk and Jason. Jason brought so much to the band. And I think if it wasn’t for Jason, Metallica’s career would have ended after Cliff’s death. He was the glue they needed at the time to hold it together and keep going.

For me the most amazing Jason moment was WHIPLASH San Diego '92, when Jason made James a background singer and put much more heaviness into this song it even had.

The best bass metal guy that Metallica had ! u can talk all u want but he back it up with skills. Metallica did a great mistake to give up on Jason. They are doing same mistake with Robert Trujillo, when he wanted a heavier sound on the bass, it was immediately apostrophized by everyone in the band, big mistake. the video is on CZcams as proof!

Todo respeito ao Cliff, porem ele se foi e nao tem como voltar, agora o Jason é a cara do Metallica, o Rob é excepcional mas ao meu ver parece que apesar de todos estes anos ele ainda não se encaixa na banda, minha humilde opinião.

It makes me still sad after all those years to see Jason so dedicatex, so brilliant but yet so di stressed because they would not accept him. Jason (together with Dave) was the best musician Metallica ever had. Beats Cliff if you ask me. And all he got was shit treatment. Of a major @-hole Lars , a week Kirk and James who seems to be a nice guy when sober (which rarely happens). They fucked up a brilliant young guy. If you ask me Jason should have left before recording Load (SHIT load)
