Yea I recently gave this a whirl. I started with TotF.. intense but I often worry it might be too intense and that I’d end up hurting myself.. Started the FitXR trial and was really impressed. Lots of variety to keep things interesting. Just wish their trainers didn’t use avatars. Going to try the supernatural trial next. Then maybe Holofit as I have a exercise bike with wifi. Considering buy Les Mills Body combat as it looks a lot like fit and supernatural but no subscription

I own a Quest 3 headset and also have a BoboVR S3 head strap.. I am retired and only do VR gaming with it and only for 1 or 2 hours which is good enough for me. Maybe we will see studies out in the future on how good or bad wearing VR headsets are for long periods of time. With the lenses being 1-2 inches from our eyes, and besides having eye strain, be interested in how it effects the overall vision of the eyes. I know it can't be very good. It is like sitting in 1 foot or closer in front of a large LCD TV display all day. Time shall Tell how good long term using/viewing VR verses our eye health not to mention the isolated mental health of doing work all day in VR. Thanks for your video. Take care.

Good job. I hope you can keep it up. That is the hardest part. To make things more fun, try the Climb 2 and Phantom Covert Ops. I play these with Adidas weighted gloves. They were only $20. This gives more strength and stretching than cardio. To make things more fun and hard, try Pistol Whip or Superhot with weighted gloves.

I just did a vid w/a section about Immersed & I had no idea about the virtual webcam. I'll have to check that out. Battery life is definitely short, but I think I got about an hour w/it..maybe a bit more, using a link cable. Apparently there's link cables that will let you connect a charger while also connected to your PC. Good vid.

You should get a floor mat or a small rug to stand on so you don't get too close to your walls.

Sitting here with 15 years experience in web dev, been doing salesforce email dev for 7 of those years, and facing down a looming return to office order. I have never lived in said metro where the office exists, nor do I have any desire to move. I call this a "shadow layoff." I am so burnt out with dev work. I'm so sick of the "just learn some more bro" culture. I'm ready to just go deliver pizza. I'm so done. Go back into construction, something. I hate it. I have no debt, paid off house, and $40k liquid in the bank. My expenses are less than $1,500 a month. I'll be fine, but god I wish I would have done something else with the last 15 years of my life. God, I wish I could have met a girl or had a family.

We live in a tech world someone has to keep it all running. Tech is not going anywhere.

If you're a tech worker with a stem degree you'll be fine. If you're a "tech" worker with a humanities/studies degree you're f...d.

We Work was also a horrible business model made to just attract VC money then siphon it off into people's pockets. Tech companies not focusing on sustainable business and actually making money NEEDS to bite them, can't wait to see new better companies hopefully rise. This is a stupid take. All of the pervious industrial revolutions have replaced an aspect of human labor. Manual labor first, then manufacturing techniques, and most recently data visualization/comprehension with computers. Never before have we seen something that can out think us. I don’t know what kinda of jobs people will be doing that don’t involve manual labor or thinking (other than spiritual/certain leadership jobs like priest, therapist (maybe), and coach)

And AI ?

its due do our economy and lack of ability to borrow money from banks. When things get cleaned up and economy is back on track, tech will have demand for jobs like in 2003 and 2011

Is tech is off then so many other things will be off too before tech.

Watch out covering your headset with stuff. It could over heat it causing some issues
