Next after using toilet close the lid and flush. Next wash hands, then go sit on your sofa. Sand paper to ignite safety matches can work, but is not as reliable as the striking paper that coems with safety matches. Unlike strike-anywhere matches, safety match strike paper includes red phosphorus in the strike paper. The friction converts this to white phosphorus to help ignite the safety match. Striking paper can be purchased separately so wjy bother with sand paper? Glue strike paper inside instead of sand paper or just switch to strike-anywhere matches. Or, just carry a Bic, yank the child safety band off and use that. Pine sap is the foundatuon of a great glue but the video kissed a lot. Don't let the sap boil or it'll become brittle. You also need to add a small amount of charcoal, or dry, pulverized droppings from a rabbit, rat, deer, etc. This stabilizes the glue. Don't add too much or the glue will get brittle. The tips for finding dry fuel for a fire in the rain are beneficial for someone without a knife or axe/hatchet. If you have a cutting tool though, skip the search and split open branches to get to yhe dry inner wood. The duct tape is 100% on target. We lived off the terrain with that and paracord.
