Clearly need to work on your vocabulary there guys....Jagga Smith - Gun.....Thinking too hard, just the first word that enters your minds. For example Jack Ough - Mobile.
Lot harder than it looks mate, they did a good job
@@jackcro2146 Great idea....Few execution & elocution wrinkles to iron out....Think I heard Bull, smooth, graceful & Tank used once in there....they were good descriptions.....But no gun, machine, wrecking-ball, metronome or assorted animal descriptions is hard to overlook....lol.
@@alansimmonds9030 well I’ll be waiting to see your video up later tonight mate if you have so much to say about it.
@@jackcro2146 Taking this a tad too serious there mate.
Can see Oakleigh going all the way - which is kind of crazy considering their season thus far.
As good as Jagga is he’s not a rare talent. FOS is so gifted, if his body holds up, he could tangibly change the fortunes of a club in a deep malaise like Richmond is. The tigers will have opportunities to draft players like Jagga but FOSs don’t appear often.
I've been tossing up between FOS, Jagga & Langford for the last couple of months. I feel like Jagga is a 'safe' draft, but FOS is just an elite game changer/winner when he's on the park. Langford is the same, huge body and loves the contest. Not to mention a ripping left foot that drives deep inside 50. All three are so creative, gonna be a tough call.
Jagga for # one. My only hope from here is Smillie falling a bit for our second pick
Why is Draper getting no love?
On the smaller side doesn't help I think. A classy ball user and one of the best below his knees as well, but isn't a natural accumulator like a Jagga who is a similar size. Can understand where the frustration lies, personally I see him in the 5-10 range.
@@craftofthedraft Fair. I think what he is doing in the SANFL as well as his speed, leadership and competitiveness to go along with everything else puts him on the same tier as FOS and Jagga
Jagga for mine - we have some midfield grunt in Taranto, Hopper, Ross and maybe McAuliffe in seasons to come but very few who can be clean with the ball and make good decisions.
Mate with the prospects in this draft coming in the only midfielder who will be left is Taranto the rest are vfl
FOS please.
Jagga is only slight, but his agility, speed, ball use, high-end consistency & decision making are first rate....Clear number 1 for mine.
Richmond should definitely pick Harvey Langford at 1
Doubt he'd be so dominant against the bigger bodies....Pick 1 is a stretch for him.
@@alansimmonds9030 the kid is 190cm, Jagga 180cm and O Sullivan 183cm
@@Lekii-2885 He dominates the juniors due to his size....Surely you get the point?...Less upside than the others because of it.
@@alansimmonds9030 would you say Smillie is the same?
@@Lekii-2885 Even moreso.
Watching from far north WA keep up the good work gents 👍
Love it, thanks mate!
Great chat boys!
Ollie Hannaford is a genuine smallish utility, goes alright as a running small defender, dangerous hard at it smallish pressure forward and has gone OK in his squitys through the midfield, Hard as a cat's head.
What about Zeke Uwland, Beau Addinsall, and Kalani White?
Only Talent League prospects referred to in title, but I'd suggest to check out our Under 17 Futures recap where we talk all about them!
Welcome to North mate!!!
As a Richmond Fan this is the Player I hope Richmond select. I see Harvey being a powerful Midfielder in Richmond in time. Would be good to get Harvey Langford , Jagga Smith and Sam Lalor and a tall like Harry Armstrong all at Richmond. It looks like Richmond will have very early picks that is great that some of theses players could get to play together in the same team in there AFL journey. Also like Finn O’Sullivan , Sid Draper , Taj Hotton , Copper Hynes , Murphy Read. , Joe Berry as Players in this Draft. Hopefully this is a good draft in depth ? Its closely even I think some stars will be found in 20’s to 30’s still ? There normally is someone that gets picked in the Draft that in years to come is talked about should have gone earlier than they did ? Being able to handle pressure in big moments with keep there strength’s of their game and take that as a challenge is massive. Speed and Skill is so important at the Top level. But also a player that is always looking to get better at there game with weapons to add to there game and the hunger to learn. All the best to all the Draftees in this Draft it’s a exciting time for them. Hope to see you Harvey at Richmond ? Im look forward to see your game with Richmond VFL this Weekend I enjoyed seeing Smith and O’Sullivan play and now it’s your turn this weekend. 👍
Was good to hear every third word.
Speak into the mic. Painful to listen to.
It's not difficult lads. You talk into the microphone.
Taj Stanley from NT Thunder / Allies would be a bargain pick up. Just made his reserves debut for Perth FC in the WAFL.
Who are the rejects from other clubs that sides can go for. Especially bottom teams that could turn those rejects into regulars. West Coast Eagles for example or North etc. Will Brodie, Ed Langdon, Devon Roberton. etc
Hamish Davis maybe?
Speak directly into the mic.....you keep dropping out when you turn and speak.
Apologies Alan, audio issue we didn’t discover until post filming.
Love your show guys. Now that you have a graphic of the player you are talking about it makes a huge difference in following what & who you are talking about.👍 Keep up the good work.
Thanks heaps Justin. We'd love to have more graphics, but we're quite limited with time and resources with only two of us and with busy schedules, so often it's quite time-consuming, glad you're enjoying though!!
Great vid lads!
How do you guys project Moraes at AFL level? Do we see him settling mainly at half-forward, or is he good enough to develop into a full-time on baller that can rest forward at times?
The latter in my opinion (Nath), I think he has the capacity to play on the outside to start, might need to develop a bit more size before being predominantly on ball, but half forward was also suit with that offensive prowess.
There is going to be a huge fight between Sydney and North over Aidan McCartney.
I agree
what are your thoughts on lincoln wright as a player? I feel like he has potential if he pushes himself enough.
Has some good moments within games, a good decision-maker in the forward half, and presents well inside 50. Would need to show consistent productivity and put his name forward.
I reckon it will end up being Kako fellas.
To clarify whilst Bendigo should've beaten Sandringham on the weekend (and the 6-6-6 infringements really hurt their momentum, particularly when they hit the front in the last quarter) it wasn't as if they were playing with their full contingent either. Missing from the team were midfielders Tom Evans, Archie Watt (both first choice), smalls Kaian Constable and Ollie Morris, talls Nick Thompson and Gus Toll and their captain Dayten Uerata. That's almost a third of their best 22 out of the side. And they were less potent forward with Barrat playing back (who was exceptional in the air but subsequently very poor by foot).
Connor is going top 5 if not Harley Reid I’d getting it
Great episode guys!
Big love Dyl, we might need to collab at some point 👀
@@craftofthedraft sounds great guys! Anytime 😄
No love for any of the Academy players?
The Vic country boys forward half is looking scary good: Whitlock, Murphy, Berry, Day-Wicks, Shannahan, Barrat, Faull, Unwin.
Shanahan is Allies! But imagine, how good.
@@karrenrufus ah yep, from Moama - just over the border - So too is Josh Murphy - who is from Albury....My bad.
Noah Hibbins Hargreaves will go into the 2025 AFL draft. Plays for Vic Country and Dandenong Stingrays. Great player.
What is it with nobodies lazily locking off a camera and thinking people will watch them talking for 45 minutes!? Make it interesting! Give us something to look at.
Well we've done pretty well as nobodies to get you to watch our podcast, so we're doing something right! Our socials are where you will find something to look at!
Hawks zane duursma or nick watson best options
Duursma offers a bit more versatility, a small forward is a small forward, but a great one at the very least in Watson’s cases
Who was best on ground for Caulfield and Haileybury game
Stay tuned for the podcast tomorrow night!
Hi there, if you are going to do reviews you might want to look a little more closely at the players before making comment - Ollie Poole only got one game opportunity in the championships which was in the last game and if you watched that game you would see that he played as a winger not a half back flanker. He does defend well which may be why you thought he played half back but have a look at the ground covered, how often he was in position up forward and where he lined up at each centre bounce when on the ground...a true wingman who can run.
Certainly a talented player. Apologies for the inconsistencies at times, a lot of players to cover and keep track of so there are times we get things like their position wrong across the game. Certainly noticed his impact defensively and at Bendigo it’s certainly been a standout as well.
