That’s what makes the show good, super rare situation where you have to try and decipher the images you saw. Half the show is like that. I’m glad I never read the comics, that would have made it less fun.
This show isn’t really confusing when you ignore a lot of the visuals they use to creatively show telepathy. It’s story beats are pretty simple. David tries to escape his mind with everyone else whilst evil Lenny with the powers of the shadow king tries to stop them.
I loved season 1 and 2 as a unit in terms for and towards David. As for the whole show? Season 1 was good, but season 3 is more crucial for the plot. Season 1 is a masterpiece: the full Webster definition bro. Its hard because each season achieved something the other wasn’t suppose to; I personally loved season 1 a lot more, but I can appreciate season 2, and sorta tolerate season 3
