Yes, I did it on my know. I checked the 3D map of the area on Jollyturns' website to look at the terrain. I also observed the people that were dropping in: if they had regular downhill ski bindings I assumed there was no hiking involved. I don't recommend this to anyone unless they're familiar skiing in the backcountry, have the proper equipment with them, and understand the risks involved.

Yes, still Arlberg. We skied that area earlier, but it was not as good as this. Arlberg is huge, if you’ve never been I highly recommend it.

Yeah, it’s a pretty sketchy run. The trickiest bit in my opinion could be the first section, you’re pretty much skiing in a tunnel. You have to maintain your speed, and there are very few places you can make turns to slow down. If it’s icy, you catch up speed very quickly, and it’s impossible to slow down.

Thanks! That was a Saturday. They had just opened that section of the mountain, a day after the actual powder day. The terrain and views are absolutely amazing. But just like in US, the powder hounds will track everything fast.

​@@kalimachiosYou're right, the one in front is Grand Casse. There a telepherique (Grand Motte) that takes you almost close to the ridge. The valley below it looks spectacular. I believe the one you're asking about is Mont Pourri.

I use 112 underfoot, I think 106 is not that much for powder, depending on where you ski. On powder skis the tip and tail of the ski are lifted. You need the ski longer than you are tall, since the distance between the points of contact with the snow is shorter. Look at the ski profile on a website showing them to see what I'm talking about. This matters when you are on crud, where you need to make turns effectively. I'd try skis 10cm longer than your height. Enjoy it!

I have 105 Head core and they longer on 5cm but for me little bit difficult to make a sharp turn on it between trees. Although the turning radius on them is only 15 meters. On gentle slopes with a long turning radius they going well. It’s probably worth trying another ski manufacturer, or practice more 😅 Thanks)@@ovidiucp

what is the hard way. The title says chute 75 so I would assume that is pretty much down the middle. He did not say chute 75 the hard way. In those conditions it is not hard however if it is icy, look for a different way down.

I will, I just ordered some Cafelat Blue 8.5mm gaskets. But the machine only has some 220 espresso shots on it, about 3 months old. It should not have gone bad so quickly.

@@ovidiucp Started having a similar problem (not as intense as yours). And my machine is about 3 months old. I just made sure to clean the gasket and started closing it tighter. Tighter than I believe should be necessary, but it has helped

I used to tighten harder and harder, to no avail, water would still be leaking. I replaced the gasket with a new one and the problem stopped. amzn.to/405HHMs
