TRAILBLAZERS TANDEM
Registrace 7. 03. 2017
TRAILBLAZERS Tandem Cycling Club is based out of Toronto, Ontario. We are a recreational cycling club with a twist. We give people who are partially sighted, blind and deaf-blind the opportunity to cycle with sighted volunteers on our tandems (bicycles built for two).

Call us! We are always looking for new volunteers and memebers.
You are thinking to much its easier than you think
Morning! We have a yelow tandem bike is awesome
Man I wish I was in y’all’s area I’m in Oklahoma and just got a tandem for me and my wife
Why do these two presenters both look as though they are blind?
Can this bike be ridden by single guy also? I mean is it compulsory to be the one pedaling from behind also?
When you ride a tandem alone without a stoker, the front wheel will support most of the weight. This means that the bike will oversteer more than what you are used to on a single bike or on a tandem with a stoker. However, you get used to this within few minutes, and shouldn't have a problem riding a tandem alone. Just be ready to get funny stares and comments from people when you ride a tandem without a stoker.
I am strugglin a lot! Can you do a new video of starting ? I just feel a lot of weight my cruise weights almost the same as me and we bought have the same high
Follow our suggestions and by time you've done it a number of times, you'll wonder why it seems so difficult the first time.
Do the one in behind should know the cycling , i mean should know how to ride single seated cycle ??
It is not necessary to have ridden a bike before.
II needed to know this. Thanks!
Glad it was helpful!
These videos are excellent.
Thank you very much!
What a great sport!
Thanks for watching. Hoping for a longer season next year.
Thanks guys for a very helpful video, (sorry more people haven't bothered to say thanks!)
You are most welcome. Be sure to view our other videos!
Thañks
Your are most welcome!
Can anyone tell me which is the best road tandem bike and do send the link.Thank you
No easy answer. Everyone rides differently.
Thanks guys
Great video guys .we just bought a tandem bike
Hope you enjoy it!
That's a really textbook and safe way to start on a tandem, good job But personally i have been riding anything from xc full suspension bikes to city cruiser from the 70s. Bought a tandem yesterday, my gf hopped on and we simply went off without any precautions. Feels a lot more natural than coordinating it like that to us
This was a fantastic series of videos, thank you so much. I am going to be riding with a visually impaired stoker and these videos have done the world of help to get me ready for riding a tandem. Cheers guys
Hope this is working out for you.
is riding tandem solo more comfortable then regular similar bike due to its length? meaning, can.absorb more bumps like longer cruiser bikes....anyone?
NO! Riding a tandem without a stoker is weird.
