Welcome to my Farmacy (Homestead).
For those new to my channel, my name is Priscilla. I was raised mostly in NY and moved DE in 2006. Being here has sparked my interest in becoming self sufficient.
My goal is to buy more land and create a closed loop self-sufficient Farmacy where over 90% of my family's food and medicinal consumption comes from our land.
In the meantime, I have 1/3 of an acre with a variety of fruit trees, annual and perennial fruits and veggies, culinary and medicinal herbs, bees in an expanding apiary, worm composting, and raising meat & egg laying chickens.
I plan to also have ducks, turkeys, pigs, sheep, lamb, cows and a few horses. A large pond for aquatic farming, for raising fish. I also want to have a large greenhouse to house my tropical fruit trees and have an all year round garden with the use of aquaponics.
Come join me on my Journey!

Thanks helps a lot good veido.
Glad it helped.
Nice harvest😊
Thanks 👍
New subscriber here. If my food grew as fast as the weeds, I’d be set for life😅
Thanks for the sub! Yeah the weeds are so annoying.
You're doing a great job. And yes those weeds are very disrespectful! I'm in Delaware too, but didn't do much of anything this yr. I planted my seeds for my herb garden, and the birds came and plucked and ate most of them smh 🙄😡
Nice 👍🏾 harvest fam! Thanks for sharing and stay blessed! -Calvin
Thx Calvin
Excited to see the progress
Hey brokefarmer 😌👋.
Nice
Thank you 👍
Nice varieties
Nice germination
Thank you so much. Now once they sprout 🌱 what is next?
Keep them watered and naturally fertilized and allow them to produce so we may harvest and sell
Nice seedlngs 🌱💚
Thank you
Thank you , I have a small apartment patio and have mustard and collard greens seedlings 🌱 that just came up I think they need to grow more, I had them I just replaced the with clear covering and set them up to get direct morning sunlight and then indirect sunlight for the remainder of the day… what’s next. Thank you for your help
If you can get a grow light directly over them, that would be ideal until they size up so they don't get leggy.
I am so happy and impressed! ❤😍 (I wish we could have chicken and quails at Dover.., but we can't. 🥺 Maybe that's the main reason my family wants to move to a small farm. 😁) I wish you all the success in the world! 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🎉🎉🎉
Thanks Minerva.
That's a lot of berries on their way👍
I can't wait
Ummmm, enjoy! Your son is soooo cute.
Thanks. The handful we did get so far was amazing.
Wow, isn't it early for blackberries!? Not even technically summer yet! You're going to have a great bountiful harvest all summer.🎉🎉🎉
They typically start ripening in June
Beautiful tour!
Thank you!
INCREDIBLE job out there all the way around! Highly encouraging to those of us growing in small spaces. I wish I could have livestock but my HOA ain’t trying to hear that 😂. I just love your entire setup. I’ll be getting in touch with you this week to check your availability for the show with BrokeFarmer and myself. Thanks for sharing and stay blessed fam! -Calvin
Hey Calvin. Thank you. It has been aLOT of work. My HOA don't bother me about the animals. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Wow, you showed you can do amazing growth (fruits, veggies, & medicinal) with property for your family and others, Your tour was great!! Looking to see the progress late July or August. My best part was seeing the Artichoke - it was beautiful.
Thanks Daisy. I am going to try and do a garden tour each month to show the progression
Very nice.
Thank you
That MEIWA KUMQUAT is my DREAM tree!!! Love the selection and the setup. I’m looking forward to seeing what you do to protect them this winter because I need some ideas 😂. Thanks for sharing and stay blessed fam! -Calvin
Hey Calvin. Check out Stan McKenzie from McKenzie Farms I believe he still has some available. Thanks for watching.
Those are some GREAT 👍🏾 looking citrus trees! 40+ quail is incredible!!! Those little birds are freaking delicious 😂. I love those raised beds. Keep up the great work and stay blessed fam!…I haven’t forgotten either. -Calvin
I'm excited about the quail addition. The raised beds I got real inexpensive from Amazon. Hit me up if you're still interested in what you mentioned before.
Wow you are advancing - OMG, so many quails. I’m learning from you & my friend Phyllis, she may know what those two plants are. Looking forward to your outcomes.
Thanks Daisy. 😊🥰
Its gonna be a challenge for you especially with the non trifoliate hybrids but you can do it.
Hey...thanks for checking out my video. That's cool. They are on a trifoliate root stock. I got them from Stan McKenzie from McKenzie Farms in SC. He grafts them on the trifoliate root stocks.
Good luck with your citrus adventure. You can do it with a nice lean to structure and enough supplemental winter heat.
Thanks for the tip!
I'm excited to watch your journey. I am in zone 7a but I can't grow citrus outdoors.
Technically I shouldn't be able to either, but I'm pushing the bar. Watch some of millennial gardeners videos on growing Citrus outdoors if you're interested in trying.
Interesting. I hope they all do well in winter. Im interested to see the structure you are going to build-my citrus are still doing great but I do bring them in and out of the house in winter
All the best for great fruits - you are motivating me to grow from seedlings.
Thanks Daisy. You should 🤗
Hiiii Pricilla do you think the citrus plants needs support to hold them up
They do have a metal stake.
? - when spinach is harvested does it regenerate like lettuce or is it one and done?
They do
I’m growing lots of seeds right now of collard greens. Thank you for your information.
You're very welcome.
Good to see you fam! Don’t think that I’ve forgotten about you. Keep dropping that content when you can because it’s really good 👍🏾. Be in touch soon. Stay blessed! -Calvin
Awe thanks.
Beautiful
Thank you 😊
Nice
Thank you 😁
What’s up fam?! I didn’t realize that you had changed the name of your channel. I’m reaching out to you to see if you’d be interested in joining myself and BrokeFarmer on a live for an interview about your channel? No pressure at all, just fun and exposure for your OUTSTANDING channel! Reach out if you’re interested and we’ll make it happen. Stay blessed! -Calvin
Absolutely.
I sent you an email
❤❤❤ I’m here for the journey
Likewise 😊
Are you selling honey? Please place me on the waitlist for honey
Hey Daisy. I hope all is well with you and the family. I haven't been selling honey as of yet because although they produced honey for me this year, they didn't provide enough to really sell. Thank you for continuing to watch the videos. I appreciate you and miss you.
@@holistichealinghomestead miss you and your family as well. I really enjoy your everything you’ve shown and I’m learning a lot - there are chickens (2) on the property I’m living on and they’re giving them eggs - my dog sometimes act like their herder to get them back in their coop. It’s fun to watch. Thanks again for sharing your journey ❤
Very educational- thank you
❤❤❤ you give me hope on my bee keeping journey. Can’t wait for an update
When did you get bees?
Glad to see the bees 🐝 respond well with the new queen
Hello there😊 I didn’t know you could purchase a queen bee😊I am learning from you already 😊fingers are crossed 🤞🏾 🐝
You can definitely purchase queens from reputable apiaries but it's harder to find this time of the year. Thank you for watching ❤️🙏
Lead is a great supporter in the community 😊new friend here
Thanks for the sub
@@holistichealinghomestead very welcome 👍🏾
Oh wow I am so sorry to hear that. Thanks for sharing this video. Have a blessed day
Thank you for watching.
Subscribed sis..don't give up... hang in there..its definitely a struggle . I haven't recorded in months because life is so busy..but hang in there !!
New subbie just cause Lead!
Hi just found your channel and subscribed. Your garden is still alive. Hope you can reset and refresh during the season transition. Happy gardening🌻🌞
Thanks for the sub! I appreciate the kind words. I am refocusing on the clean up, resetting and naturally fertilizing the soil and growing food for the fall and winter mostly indoors.
We all get the gardener's funk but spring usually snaps us out of it. Hang in there!
Thank you 😊
Peach harvest looked great. I gave up growing them because I didn't want to bother with spraying
I completely understand. It's a battle with the pests and leaf curl
❤❤❤ the garden burnout is real. I’m glad to see you’re still going. What helped me was just clearing everything out and starting over. I felt so much better pulling up my failed annuals.
I'm about to start the fall clean up soon.
