@@kylewoodard1168 they are kuhl free flex pants. I love them! I have looked for my husband though, and didn't find similar options but hopefully that has changed!
If you want to get more calories without weight, you need to eat more fat. The easiest way for most people is to consume nuts. There oz can get you 550-600 calories. And the salted ones help on electrolytes. You can also add chopped ones to other foods.
I don't know who you are but I love the courage to just put yourself out there are vlog your pct journey. Please keep posting I look forward to your videos, I love small channels that give an accurate and honest view of a long thru hike!!
September 8-13. I downloaded a few maps from all trails. Because I'm paranoid, I also did have the national geo paper map and also downloaded onto my Garmin.
Well done with the challenges you had! I did Chepeta to Hayden Pass in 2022. I stayed at the same camp at Kidney Lakes. Red Knob is tricky. I thought harder than Deadhorse. Oh no! The Garmin! Crazy you went back for it in the dark! Respect for doing Red Knob twice! You went for the deadfall route in Rock Creek. We did the Jack and Jill route because we were Tenkara Fishing. It's more scenic, and you done have to cross the river. Ouray Lake was one of the prettiest settings I have ever seen. Carolyn was our last night too! Congrats on your Highline!
Loved your video. Me, my dog Athena and two 19 yr old girls from BC did the Highline from McGee Draw north of Vernal in August 2022. I'm going to do it again this August or September and we'll start from Leidy Peak like you did. Thanks for sharing your adventure!
Major props for basically 27 miles coming out of Echo!
Excellent hike Steph!!
What are those blue pants you’re wearing? I’d love to look up the men’s version. 17:56

Awesome, you are cruising now. Pretty soon you'll be doing some consistent 30s.
That's the goal!

Wow I have the same EE quilt and have been using the straps wrong the whole time that explains so much
I'm definitely not an expert and never even used the quilt before the trail, but it's going well!
Great job hiking Steph! Luv the beautiful views! You're doing great!
Thank you for filming your adventure!! Many greetings from Germany! Happy trails
Looks Incredible
Oh my that water looks like it feels good on the feet!!
Beautiful views Steph! I'm amazed!
Did ur dog carry all his/her own food 😳
Yep he did! The weight of 6 days of food was less than 15% of his bodyweight and we trained with his pack and weight leading up to the hike
Great looking trail. What time of the year did you hike it, and what map did you use ?

Thanks, I’m heading there this summer.
