We got ice plants they get picked sorted in size then thrown in the bin different sizes different bins they take them off the boat at the shrimp shed and end up re iced sent to a factory that peals packs em and ships them world wide. We catch shed buys em then factory buys them from sheds then they sell them to stores then stores sell them to the public. That’s why we get paid like crap for white shrimp too many people with there hands in the jar if you know what I mean.
This we call single rig this is what I’m going to start doing come 2025 just got my boat now it’s just to get the rigging right and prime and paint slap some doors and cables on and net we gone! New boat on the bayou Lafourche coming soon! The grand illusion!
That's some clean corn there. Just a tip, you can splice that bib into one of the door cables a ways up and you don't have to haul the bib by hand, so long as you have room on the drum for the cable. It'll help that net pull more square as well.
The grocery stores dont have anything but shrimp from Nam. or Farmed from China . I think the Chinese get our Gulf shrimp for less than what we pay for there sewage lagoon fed shrimp.

Some hard work non stop picking , sorting , etc. And when that tide starts running and them shrimp or running you don't get any breaks all day and I'll night where in Louisiana y'all shrimping ? I USE to shrimp out of port sulphur and lafitte
