I've been a Beatles fan over 40+ years. I've been a Walt DisneyWorld fan since 1975 and I've been an Ann-Margret fan for as long as I can remember. I actually got to meet her when she performed here with her 1 woman show back in 1983. That was one of the exciting things I have ever gone through. Now all I have to do is meet Paul McCartney and I can die in peace. Oh yeah, me and MIckey Mouse are best buds!

I was here.
The dance moves are so dated! I loved this when I was growing up in the 70s, Liza was my fav performer.
Wow, that fellow portraying John is remarkable!
❤ So beautiful and great actress.
She is 36 here and is stunning with boundless energy.
As You Listen to the Music from the Show, it Absolutely Feels like You are in Disney-MGM Studios
ann-margret could dance in her own way
Check out Kristen Wiigs impression of her on Saturday night Life; it's fabulous, spot on and it's not mean impression. It's really cute.
The guy playing John looks more like his son then Julian or Sean. Wow!!
Sweet memories!
Amazing display, hope you give us another tour for 2022!
The best Beatles copy band ever
John Lennon hadn't been so hoarse voice. However, it's very good performance.
My first thing at WDW. Best guess is I was Pooh in this one.
5:19 Ooh, that was a BIG TIME fail!
Saw them in Liverpool 1995. It was like actually seeing Lennon in the flesh. It was unbelievable actually. The raw energy. When you closed your eyes it was his actual voice….unreal.
Thanks for posting it. I was there in 87, along with my parents, I was only 13, we flew from Brazil, and I'm still remember this song. Such a powerful memory! May God bless America!
Omg. That castle float was around back then?!
Pretty sure this celebration was its premier.
@@JustinTheClaw apparently not. Someone posted in the thread that it came from California which makes sense. Florida would get the hand me downs after California would premier new shows and technology.
@@WhatnGayH Fascinating… there _has_ to a website or something documenting the history of this float, and if there isn’t, I’m gonna make one!
Very good quality of video considering its from 1985
The beat was too fast in some songs....felt like running out of time.....
Anyone know of a Beatles tribute that has a really good Paul that's on par with how good Gary is as John? Most I've seen might have the voice but don't look like him or are too short. Or they have somewhat of the look but not the voice.
How about Mitch Weissman of The original Beatlemania Broadway's cast? He eventually learned to play left handed. And he naturally had all the other stuff (except for the singing voice for the role of McCartney, that took him about a year to master).
@@imnotthewalrus880 Thank you. Yeah I found a couple of CZcams videos on your rec. He really did look like Paul more than any other Beatle tribute I've seen. If he looked that much like him up close I can only imagine how much he looked like him from the audience view watching Beatlemania live. I don't think there are any current "Paul's" out there that are this close. 😔
@@dcool2u2 there sorta is two I know who are pretty close in looks, and are even better with copying Paul's vocals almost perfectly. Ardy Sarraf of The Fab Four, and the new "Paul" of the much younger Beatles tribute band "Beatology". You can find him on Instagram, forgot his name, though.
@@imnotthewalrus880 Yeah the Fab Four guy really sounds like Paul. I've heard somewhere Paul was asked about Beatlemania, (I think), and replying "He sounds more like me than I do" Lol! Great line!
'No Reply' is a bit too fast. Good though.
Best parts of this band? John Lennon singer and lead guitar licks by the "George" fill-in. But was this band mainly just a John Lennon Tribute show? I think the other guy in the Beatles was called Paul McCartney and he how a powerful lead singing and harmony voice, too. But was this his night off when this video was made? As a drummer myself for decades since the Beatles came, I know all the Beatles drum parts. This drummer is playing way too loud and kind of sloppy turn-arounds and badly tuned drums. It's a non-descript drum set with no proper mics amplifying. I love John Lennon, always did! He was my favorite member of the Beatles. I miss him dearly. (I used to be co-manager of Rain - the first ever Beatle tribute in the world. Chet Actis was their manager, and Dick Clark was our "producer", in name only. )
Actually, the band "Cavern" wasn't a Lennon tribute act, NOR a Beatles tribute band. They were just Gary Gibson's band. And because Gary naturally looked and sounded just like John Lennon, they covered some Beatles tunes, along with some earlier rock songs The Beatles would have covered in 1961/1962. They also wrote some pretty good "Beatle-esqe" originals that are up on CZcams.

Love It
I like this attraction but I never experienced it since I was born in 2009
That interaction between your son and Dreamfinder and Figment was cute! Thank you for sharing this footage!
You are very welcome
My family and I was there in the 90s
September first 2 weeks
mcrtnyfan wow🤗 from Philadelphia & my dad took me there from around aug 28-sept 5th of 85👌🏽💯❤️🌹
When in 1985 was this? The first time I went to Disney World was in mid July of '85. I turned 4 years old while I was there.
Good video, I remember this show, it was great.
Awesome
Thank you for this. We only took one big family vacation when i was a kid and WDW 1987 was it.
very good yes
wow. if you haven t seen john lennon live in sixties, jus see gary gibson, pretty much as close as u can get.
Javier parisi is better
Great time indeed. Can’t believe it is over. Amazing time. The replacement for Chris Camileri was outstanding. I think Chris has now missed 4 of the last 5 Chicago Fests!
what is the date for this they seemed to have played two nights..
It was this past weekend, August 9, 10 and 11
They play 3 days all the days of fest
Thank you SOOOOO very much!!!
I do not think so. I drove that float (front or rear) hundreds of times. It came from California if I remember correctly. I might have been that person in the beginning in the tie.
Lovely choreography
I think that's Pete on drums. The weakest link.
hahaha....
Actually, the real Pete Best wasn't really that bad on drums. Have you actually hear him play? He's nowhere near Ringo's skill, but he's still hella good.
I remember this from when it aired. This is when women were sexy not trashy. So much talent in such a beautiful kind sweet woman. She has great extension of her arms and legts and knows how to move her body. Very flexible and very very very sexy.
The name of this tv special is "Cinderella at the Palace" shown on tv on November 2, 1978. It was filmed at "Caesars Palace" casino. I love this dance number its called "Lils Place". I remember watching it on the night it aired and going crazy. LOL!!! It was one of Ann-Margret's favorite dance numbers to do. I am so sorry you lost your Ann-Margret vhs collection. Thanks so much for taking the time to upload this tv special.
THat's right! That was it! Thanks for refreshing my memory! I also loved this dance too and stole a few dance steps from it.
Did you find the first half of this where she plays herself and waitress with Rip Taylor, because I just put that up.
@@ExpressionDanceStudioWestmont Yes, I sure did. Ann-Margret looks so good with a head wrap on her head. Her eyes are unbelievable. Thanks for uploading the first part too.

17:45 NOT THE MAMA!
Up front! John Merjave is such an amazing guitar player(and really cool guy)! Glen brings it! Drew founded this band. This drummer was killing those skins!! Thanks for posting!
