Yea the ATC sounds better, but to be fair those Bowers are probably really old, maybe even 20 years old.

Against B&W 802D? That were my old speakers, 3 generations older than the current vastly improved D4 current generation B&W 800.

Great video. I much prefer the ATC over CZcams. What do you think of them in person. My personal speakers is the JBL 4367 but I always wanted to try some big ATCs.

Both sounded awful in this demo..so sibilant. Also the 802's are right next the wall and crammed in. If you read the manual, B&W expressly say that the speakers should not be placed closer than 1m. This so called test is madness.

I’m sure both speakers would sound better if they had some space to breathe. However in this flawed comparison the ATC’s definitely sound far superior to my ears. Shame they’re so damned ugly.

Total waste of money in that room. a pair of bookshelves and a rel would be a better purchase. I do understand why you purchased them though

Immediately notice box cabnet coloration with ATC. Clean smooth with B&W...

ATC, don't forget they have the best midrange on the planet.. Not even a planar or electrostatic gets close to that dome driver!!!

Yes. ATC is better sound for me.. Also, That has too much problem thing, First of all, I don't like B&W Sound. Frankley. But, Certainly, Many Pleple like ATC Sound, too.

You have a very expensive set up in a very tiny room. These speaker needs more room to reveal their true potential.

The room and speaker placement eliminates any serious listening there. In any case, ATC will always be superior.

Maybe this comparison not make sense, what power ampl and preamp use for B&W ? For what I see the B& W are not with good high end for drive them at their best;

Bad speaker placement. If you have any Audio knowledge there many mistakes with this setup. Get some audio/acoustics knowledge and then you dont have to waste this audio setup

interesting is round preparation for additional driver near the dome midrange !? And I am sure this ATC can easily challenge B&W behind them which are little confused and they are watching and asking what is going on here !? :)
