Hello I an interested in buying a liquid stive and was wondering if you would prefer the whisper lite international or the dragon fly if you could only have one. Durability and reliability is important to me. Hope you respond, I know its a couple years old. Comsameda!

I own same one, and has a big problem like yours. "The flame is lifting" from some nozzles of the burner head. The flame in such condition is soooo weak against the wind. Maybe the Cause of flame lifting with gas is pressure of the fuel, the design of burner head for liquid fuel doesn't fit perfectly for gas even changing jet. So using canister fuel is for emergency situation only, what do you think?

I havn't been camping/backpacking in YEARS and I too was questioning why you would setup basically on a stream, where small stove parts could be dropped and not retrieved, why not do the changeover as basecamp? I noticed the overpumping also, and thought that seemed a little excessive...

if you intended to use the liquid fuel option, why leave the cannister attachment in place? more to do and possibly lose small pieces. please be careful. that stove was way overprimed and could have been a real problem
