    I just found out that my great great great aunt was the land lady of a pub calle the ship inn for 30 years, her brother was drowned in the tyne at the fish quay and was never found and apparently she was possibly the last land lady of the Newcastle Arms that can be seen in this video ☺️ i find it so fascinating to think that some of these people were possibly once my ancestors, or at least knew them 🥰

    What sort of image processing are you doing? Are you retreiving your raw files from the Unistellar servers? Or are you processing .png files straight from the scope?

    • @johnrshort
      @johnrshort Před 4 měsíci

      I use the PNG files. The app has very recently made fits download possible but I’ve not tried it yet. I use Pixinsight and Photoshop for processing .

      You need to gather lots of integrations and stack them then process then to bring out the detail. Watch CZcams videos about stacking ( Pixinsight, Siri, APP ) and lent to pfurther process in photoshop or similar

    • @johnrshort

    I'm after first night with clear skies after buing Seestar S50 and I managed to capture couple of objects from this selection :-) Results are less spectacular and I limited my exposures to 5 minutes to cover more objects, but I am pleasently surprised that much cheaper device and only with built in stacking returned something half-comparable. Clear skies and all the best!

    Beautiful Photos ! I am debating between eVscope 2 and Vespera; I see videos on both here on your channel. The ability to see realtime images through eye piece in eVscope sounds exciting but are the final images better with Vespera ? Thank you for the advice 😊

    • @johnrshort
      @johnrshort Před 5 měsíci

      I w o my used the eyepiece on the EvScope once in two years . The choice between scopes used to be small galaxies you want the EvScope big nebula you want the Vespera. A new complication is the app with the EvScope now incorporates something called ddt which ruins the images for further processing Z I know they are working on a fix but for the last several months my EvScope has been an expensive doorstop.
