I just saw this after watching one of your earlier utubes of u and him. Cant believe it, what an accomplishment you had with him! I thought she is very brave to have gotten back on time after time and he turned out to be such an awsome partner for you. I feel your pain, in 2020 I had to put down my horse he had been sick with a foot infection. Huggs!!! 😭🙋👋

Hey Jazz, I really feel for you!! I have a 32yr old horse that served me well for 3yrs. He’s still alive but his teeth aren’t great. Also, are you from New Zealand? Cause I am! I also super bummed that hoy was cancelled this year :(

I can’t BELEVE you are riding that horse when he spooks and acts up like that. You should never trust your life or neck with a horse who you cannot trust doing groundwork.

Why was this in my recommended?

I got my dressage horse (a chunky 16.2hh) given to me for free because the people that had him were going to shoot him because it took 4 people to turn him out and he used to rear and go back with them. Even a professional dressage yard said that he was “wild and dangerous”. I got given him when I was 11 and everyone thought I was going to get killed or squashed. He has been the best and most loving horse I own, I have now taught him to jump and even taken him to the beach and round the xc course. We had some struggles with him cantering backwards at the beginning, and he bucked me off once then stud on me and broke 2 of my ribs but apart from that I can now confidently take him anywhere and trust that he won’t spook or be naughty.

overall. you can’t ride

My one problem with this is the lack of a body protector 😂 I wear mine on my sane cob... how brave are you 😂

That really looks like pain in the back. And I thought that before the first jump, because he don't really pulls the hind legs under the body. It seems stretching the back upwards is not comfortable. Then the bucking after the jumps show the same image, it looks definitively like pain or at least stiffness.
