Thanks for the review but this FX unit is so fake sounding and therefore not worth the exceptionally high $450 price, Software harmony VSTi programs sound a lot better than this.

Excellence in the review. But it sounds totally unnatural. I guess that’s why tc helicons cost $500-$1200.

Awesome! Just bought one for my online karaoke sessions. Can't wait for it to get here! I didn't have a way to add reverb but I just bought this on amazon to see how it helps.

I am looking for a harmony pedal that allows me to: * pick a harmony note setting that is dialable chromatically anywhere on the scale one octave up or down. More than one harmony note setting to create a chord based off of my vocalized note would be an added plus. I want full control over the harmony interval note selection even if my choices are not traditionally considered to be in harmony. * this unit would NOT depend on background chords on a guitar or whatever to auto harmonize. I want to sing a note and pick the interval I want, not have some microchip decide that for me.

Fantastic demo, thank you so much. I have always had issues with the harmonizers as soon as you introduce, say, a Csus2, C6, or C major 7. It suddenly gives you really odd, unharmonious results. I was hoping this one would be different.

What Mic are you using to narrate??

does the harmony/vocoder track notes in real time, or it has to be full chords? Trying to use it for single notes, like I can with antares harmony engine, I use it with midi, but not trying to have to take my computer and interface out of the house for gigs.

Had an earlier version a few years back. It worked fine and was impressive for about an hour. It was a waste of money because it didn’t last beyond first rehearsal.

I had one. It sounded too robotic for me. I went with a tc helicon voicelive 2 for live performance with a band and boss ve-8 for busking. I got both used n have had zero problems with either unit. Had them both for years now. Remember that id u are in America you can take it home n try it for a month before you decide.
