Where are people?

I used to live in Alpena from 1983 - 1984 . I went to the college up there, and the first shot brings back so many memories. The place across from the Thunder Bay Theater that I think is now a pizza place was called The Friendy Bar . As college kids we would go there to dance to live bands every Friday and Saturday night . I also met Bob Seger there while he was hanging out having a drink . He used to date a woman from Alpena in the 80s .

That first park on 2nd ave, we played flag-football there. Pinball joint across the street. "Scott's:. We would dive off the bridge. Lotsa silver on the bottom from people throwing coins in we'd jump after. Used to be some of the best Perch fishing there.

What is the term used to express BELOW 0.0%. and yeah, you got it. My family and I used to vacation there, (and Omena), back in the late '50's to early 60's. We stayed in the big yellow house, (which if you continue down the road going past the old Train station is shortly on the right and waterfront). The historic house has long since been torn down, (I'm presuming), as it was a serious "firetrap" even back in the '50's, but a lot of great memories. Northport WAS a bustling small town back in the day, (Mayberry RFD style), but now reminds me of something out of a Steven King novel and will apparently remain as such. Is there a grocery store there? MAN... a lot of stuff has changed there. The huge Marina, etc. WOW, what a colossal waste of taxpayers' money.

Are there ANY Long-term residents of Omena / Northport, (70 + years), that I could talk to here?

'Kinda cool to see this. I remember riding in my Dad & Moms car back in the late 50's to early 60's going North to Northport when Suttons Bay was just a concept and was just a "wide-part-in-the-road". As a rail fan, I enjoyed the old PM / C&O that ran from Traverse City TO Northport. Much has changed !

How did nature support a weak female knowing her weaknesses. There's gotta be a real mind blowing explanation for it which most of the feminists aren't so aware and proud of. All the new women want is to be a man. Not biologically but mentally but even resembling psychological character resemblance's. It's only a matter of time for most women to understand getting things done and doing it responsibly is all they need to conquer the power and bring it to the front. Thank you so much. I lived on a farm nearby and loved it. I collected petoskys many happy hours. Summers were amazing. i am 82 now and I miss sailing on my homemade windsurfer when I was 17. California is not the answer...unless you live by Lake Tahoe.
