Simpson is back at it again ✨
Yessir!
Rider field with the laxy river and oklahoma city with there brick work?
Also a classic!
Good news, the town who lost the team will get a new indy team
I’m thankful that they are getting something. That’s always the sad part. Whenever a new city gets a team, it means an old city loses their beloved team. I’m glad Mississippi will still have a team to support. I know it isn’t the Braves, but I hope it can at least be a bit of a band-aid for the great fans over there!
Cool video Thanks 👍
@@MarkCzmic420 Thank you for watching!
Thanks for saying Wisconsin correctly 😂
With a handful of us being from WI, it’s our pleasure 😂
Do y'all talk about indy leagues or just affiliated ball?
We will occasionally talk Indy ball! Did you have a topic/player you’ve been following?
@@MinorLeagueMinute I will like a video about the best indy ballparks please
@@ThatC1official Sir yes sir! 🫡
All these guys are so special. I got a Wyatt Langford autograph at a minor league game last year.
Hold onto that puppy! Max Clark is hitting .290 in High-A and is somehow 4th out of those top 4 picks. The draft class is 🔥
We need max clark
He’s been heating up + has 30 stolen bags this year. It’s only a matter of time!
I bet they take their time after kind of rushing Tork though
@@MinorLeagueMinute yeah Tork’s situation has been funny though, last year he had a great year. He was bad most of this year, but has hit super well after being called up.
@@user-ix7if6vk3w He has been up and down, but my goodness the physical ability is there!
I’d say that calling him one of the best on earth is a stretch. He’s absolutely amazing and very talented but it’s difficult to compare a 17 year old and prime Nolan Ryan. He’s easily one of the best prospects on earth but definitely not on of the best overall players imo
Definitely one of the best prospects!
Don’t forget about Nolan Schanuel
Also true! He flew up that system and debuted last year which is crazy. Dude looks like the real deal 🔥
Looking like a steal , since Geno has turned it on and Puk has been really good
Oh man! They need to trade this guy. We only want guys who can barely hit .200. Guys like, Baldwin, Vargas, Robinson, etc
Luna is a Star ⭐️
I agree!
It barly hosted pro ball anyways
I mean its kind of hard to pay them more when people dont watch them like they do for MLB players.
Revenue generation is definitely a factor, but there aren’t many pro players in any sport making that little
Just got home from the tides game and got a free championship ring
Let’s GOOOO
. 163 in AAA after not playing for a decade is nuts
Right? The idea of even connecting on the ball 30-40% of at bats after not playing for that long is impressive. All power to him 🔥
I have all the respect in the world for Tebow, he’s even doing well in the box with the crew broadcasting
Agreed! He’s one of the better listens when it comes to insight on Saturday and Sunday mornings
So genuinely happy he went to Illinois. Can't have any Wolverines on the Buccos. Can't wait to see Camden in Black and Yellow!!!
Camden should thrive in Florida! He has one of the most mature games I’ve ever witnessed in person.
Jackie Robinson Ballpark in Daytona Beach.
Oldest ballpark in the minors! ⚾️
@@MinorLeagueMinute when the stadium was renamed in 1990 (it used to be City Island Ballpark) a statue of Robinson was unveiled. Then-National League Commissioner Bill White was there as was Don Newcombe and the graceful and amazing Rachel Robinson. I remember because I interviewed them all. They also played an old-timers game and the late Harry Burney sang the third stanza of the "Star-Spangled Banner."
@@JosePerez-vz1qq This is PHENOMENAL stuff! I can imagine that was one riveting interview. Thank you so much for the insight! Who were you working for at the time?
St. Paul?
Do they post for all their travel?!
Yes! Depending on the team, housing is typically included too
I think 50k should be the minimum starting at rookie ball
Waiting to see the next time minor league pay is brought up!
@@MinorLeagueMinute we are definitely a long way away from 50k but with the cost of living nowadays I think it’s fair
Not enough!!
Agreed! Some of these values are double what they were in ‘19, but there’s a long way to go
Hi
Hello 🫡
Nice that such a small channel posting video quality as one that have 10x subs
Thank you! Quality and growth are two big goals of ours. 💪🏼
You picked right for #1 with slugger. What a park! I will add the Park for the Tennessee Smokies at Sieverville, TN. Mountains around, Gatlinburg a few minutes away and the Cubs AA team - what can there be more to love! (oh - a HUGE Buc-ees right next door!)
Louisville is a magical land for baseball. I’m hoping to get out to the Smokies’ ballpark too! That Cubs’ pipeline has been among the best in the league for a couple of years for now. You can never go wrong with Buc-ees! Thanks for the comment!
Me and my stepfather have been to Lecom Park to see the Pirates during Spring Training 2 or, 3 times.
What a spectacle! That are has been spoiled with the likes of O’Neil Cruz and Paul Skenes among others these last few years!
Pitching against a switch hitter is going to be interesting because he can just switch the side
Very true! It’ll be a standoff haha
You really need to check out Smith's ballpark in Salt Lake City. The best view in baseball!
Where’s the best seat in the house?! I plan to make many trips, and now I’ll add Smith’s ballpark to the list. Thanks Brian!
Great video but that's not how you pronounce Reading.
Thank you for the correction!

I've been to Louisville Slugger Field. Very nice. I stayed at the Peabody Hotel in Memphis, right across the street from AutoZone. Unfortunately, the season had ended two weeks before. But the front gate was open and I walked in. I came across an employee and asked if I could look around. He said sure. Beautiful place. The only drawback was no game. :( I'm going next to Fifth Third Park in Toledo. Even though I live in an MLB city, the team's AAA minor league team has been located in the same metro area since 2021. I've found I've been going to more minor league games than major league ones since then.
That is an AWESOME story. I’d love to do ballpark tours without games going on too, tbh. I feel like you can take in the architecture a lot more. However, it’s certainly more lively during a game! Thanks for sharing!
No Bowman Field? I believe that Nolan Ryan and Kerry Wood spent time in this stadium and behind the stadium is the birth place of little league baseball.
That’s a legendary field, but this is just for active stadiums in affiliated ball!
My college team plays on a field that’s known for holding an old minor league Brooks Robinson played for “Lamar Porter Field” in Little Rock
That’s awesome stuff. It’s always intriguing to peel back the pages and see how much history is in these older ballparks. Your profile pic is legendary by the way. 😂
Avista stadium in Spokane is a good park.
Great recommendation! Where’s the best seat in the house at Avista?
How about railways stadium in gary.ind
Minor league stadiums are boring. They generally all look the same and are very small. Not much to look at
I’d argue they get more creative freedom! You don’t see Ferris wheels, nearby water towers, more creative promotions AND a better bang for your buck in many other places. You can see the future of today’s games from front row seats for $20. Plus, some of these ballparks have subtle nods to their major league affiliates (ex: mini green monster & mini brewer slide).
@@MinorLeagueMinute i get all that but the actual stadium looks dull. They usually all have no outfield seating so it looks like a local park game
@@brandonneumann5294 It's definitely more for the crowd looking for a more close-up setting. I hear you though!
👾😊
I really liked Dow Diamond in Midland, MI.
Love the Loons! That treeline in center is 🔥
Just purchased his 2022 1st Bowman Chrome True Blue Refractor /150. Holding tight!
DEFINITELY hold onto that puppy. Thanks to a mature approach and the fact he’s an athletic freak, the guy has ‘Nationals great’ written all over him.
The Lake Elsinore Storm, Albuquerque Isotopes, and Nashville Sounds also have cool ballparks 💯💯💯💯
First Horizon Ballpark is a must see! Thanks so much for all of the suggestions!
Parkview Field is fantastic. Glad to see it on your list. Missing Victory in Indy seems strange though.
I’ve heard a lot about victory field in the feedback, so it’ll likely be in a future video! LOVE Parkview Field!
I saw him hit his first career home run
The man is no joke.🔥 His swing is smooth and controlled, and his plate discipline looks like that of a veteran despite the fact he debuted just a week ago.
I have visited Sahlen Field. (The Buffalo Bisons are my favorite Minor League Baseball team!) I have also visited McCormick Field, in Ashville, NC. 2.
Love it!! My friend interned for the Syracuse Mets for a bit and got to go to a Bisons game. He had nothing but rave reviews for that facility! How was your experience at McCormick??
Not seeing first horizon park (Nashville AAA) on here is a little surprising. It’s usually rated as one of the best.
Plenty of phenomenal parks to choose from! I’ll have more videos like this one on the way 🤞🏼
Any list like this without Victory Field is incomplete.
That's definitely one of the greats!
I would vouch for Regions Field (Birmingham Barons), Riverwalk Stadium (Montgomery Biscuits), and Blue Wahoos Stadium (Pensacola Blue Wahoos). Three of the best stadiums in all of the minor leagues.
Love it, Tyler! What’s your favorite out of those three if you had to pick? We did a video involving the Blue Wahoos a couple of weeks back where a player’s cousin fished his home run ball out of Pensacola Bay!
@MinorLeagueMinute That is really tough. When it comes to architecture, I would pick Regions Field. The outside of the park is stunning and is located in a revived part of downtown Birmingham. For vibes, I would pick Blue Wahoos Stadium. The beach elements are nice and their food selections are incredible. Lots of seafood on the menu.
I don’t understand how he’s number 5 should be number 1 at least 2 Jackson Holiday is all hype
@@leanturkey531 The prospect lists are ever-evolving! Guys like Skenes and Caminero have been absolutely raking, but Wood looks like a polished pro through a few games
It's interesting that the first park you show is Woodmen Field in Davenport, but it's not in the top 10. It should be. I'd also consider Principal Park in Des Moines. My absolute favorite though is Parkview Field.
Woodmen deserved some type of recognition, but I couldn’t quite let it in the top 10! It’s still a spectacular field, along with Principal Park! I’m good friends with their announcer, and their stacked pipeline has made those games a very enjoyable watch!
That first picture of Durham Bulls Athletic Park is not that. It’s actually the old Durham Bulls Stadium.
Thank you for the context! I was looking for b-roll with the city’s backdrop and that must’ve slipped through the cracks.
how is Harbor Park (Norfolk Tides) and Victory Field (Indianapolis Indians) not on this list?
Those are both awesome ballparks! Each of these ticked off a different unique element in their own right, but those are both must visits! Not to mention the juggernaut Orioles system and spectacle that is Paul Skenes highlighting those teams’ journeys this year.
I've always wanted to watch a game at Victory Field.
@@blucy10 I was playing their in MLB the show just yesterday, and it gave me the itch to look up flights/tickets 🔥
