His subjective view is one that is widely shared among many football fans around the globe today - However, I strongly disagree!
In 2021 I successfully graduated my Masters degree in Geopolitical studies, the art of how geography can affect both domestic and international relations. Football is no exception from this.
The large majority of football's biggest rivalries are a cause and consequence of distinguished political ideologies that have stemmed throughout the past century. Many of these developing from the local community which the clubs fanbase is geographically situated in.
I personally believe many of football's derbies and victories are used as a social tool by fans to politically challenge their counter beliefs in a non violent manner.
The goal of these football vlogs is to highlight the political affiliations of football teams by understanding their fan, club, geographic, and political history.

PYROMANIA AT A 6,000 CAPACITY STADIUM IN CZECH REPUBLIC - FC ZLIN VS BANIK OSTRAVA
The city of Zlin is located in the Moravian region of the Czech Republic, approximately 300km from the capital city of Prague. It is a small city with a population of just under 75,000 inhabitants, and yet is the heart of the one the Czech Republics most famous companies; Bata.
Bata was founded in the late 19th century by Thomas Bata, a Zlin born Czech local. Primarily a shoe making company, it has gone on to sell more than 14 billion shoes globally. However, the man himself, Thomas Bata, you could argue built the city of Zlin from the ground up himself.
His companies success largely attracted others in the region who were eager to gain employment come to the Czech city of Zlin to work. As time passed, the city of Zlin grew.
In terms of football, the local football club FC Zlin was founded in 1919, just over 100 years ago. Since their formation, they have gone on to win the domestic cup twice, and qualify for the Europa league group stages as a result of their success in the domestic competition.

Banik Ostrava are the big boys, the don daddas of football in this part of the Czech Republic. After experiencing Banik Vs other Moravia teams such as Brno, Slovacko and Sigma Olomouc. It was time ... to watch them away to FC Zlin.
Even more, is the fact that, we enjoy ground hopping in the Czech Republic, and Zlin is one ground in Moravia that we have truly not had the chance to experience.
Nobody, really, nobody loves away days in this country more than Banik Ostrava fans. FC Zlin were not going to shy away from such a large presence, and made sure to come in numbers to support their team against Silesian rivals.

Let me correct you on why there is such a rivality between Slovan and Spartak... it dates back to 1942, when forward and a big star of Trnava (then ŠK Rapid) František Masarovič made a transfer to Slovan (then ŠK Bratislava). Trnava fans were absolutely angry, because they felt betrayed by both player and the clubs. In 60s there were more transfers between these clubs and whenever one player moved to the rival club, it made the fans really angry. In late 60s both clubs made a success on European level (Trnava reached semifinal of European Champions Cup and Slovan won the Cup Winners' Cup), which added a fuel to the existing rivalry. And even now, Slovan is currently the most successful club with 5 league titles in a row, aiming for the 6th, while Trnava grabbed a few Slovak Cup titles, sometimes with Slovan as its opponent in the finals.

@@thefootballpolitician7773 in Trnava is always great atmosphere on derby because we don't care about the result or position in the table, but in april SFZ ( Slovak Football Association) closed our ultras tribune so u should visit derby in Trnava next season for better experience :)
