I got one of these, I have to plug it in to the mains power and use and amplifier and speakers to get any noise out of it. I call it a record player. Ok, daft comment over. What a nice grammophone. Old. Just works and no power, batteries needed. Very nice. Good how just vibration of the needle and the pick up (forget what the proper name is) and the horn, accustic part makes that noise. Portable too. The home ones that did not move with a big horn, bet they gave out some noise. Very nice video. Place that has gone now, The old boy, owner died. Thank you for posting a video of my great-grandfather's invention. It is, however NOT a phonograph of any type. It is a gramophone. The phonograph plays a vertically incised cylinder, while a gramophone play a laterally incised disc. Take a look.
