"Fare Thee Well" - Chuck (Supernatural) 11x20
A song performed by God (God/ Chuck Shurley/ Carver Edlund). This was taken from a scene in #Supernatural "Don't Call Me Shurley" 11x20. I do not own any rights.
If I had wings like Noah's dove
I'd fly up the river to the one I love
Fare thee well, oh honey, fare thee well
I knew a man who was long and tall
He moved his body like a cannon ball
Oh fare thee well, oh honey, fare thee well
I remember one night in the drizzlin' rain
Around my heart I felt an achin' pain
Fare thee well, oh honey, fare thee well
One of these days it won't be long
You'll call my name and I'll be gone
Fare thee well, oh honey, fare thee well
Fare thee well
If I had wings like Noah's dove
I'd fly up the river to the one I love
Fare thee well, oh honey, fare thee well
I knew a man who was long and tall
He moved his body like a cannon ball
Oh fare thee well, oh honey, fare thee well
I remember one night in the drizzlin' rain
Around my heart I felt an achin' pain
Fare thee well, oh honey, fare thee well
One of these days it won't be long
You'll call my name and I'll be gone
Fare thee well, oh honey, fare thee well
Fare thee well

regarder bien la main de dean qui brille c'est dieu qui viens se dire bonjours ^^
Verdadeiros fãs de spn se debulhando em lágrimas ouvindo essa pedrada 😅🥲
after seeing this video again. it made me believe the original creator wanted to end it all. Just not how he expected it,.
I had a shirt just like that. I'm not sure where it is. I can just find another one.
Imagine how much more at peace the conclusion of supernatural would be if this was the final season and the show concluded after the final episode of season 11 and the last episode is just the finale from season 15 where dean dies and sam grows old and while in heaven chuck is singing this
Anyone in 2024?
How dafuq did random sweater guy know that broad he was banging was lying on the street like a flounder?
Isn’t this an original song from Inside Llewyn Davis?
isn't this a song by Dave Van Ronk called "dink's song"? why rename it as your own?
Ef I had wings like Norah's dove, I'd fly up the river to the man I love. Fare thee well, O Honey, fare thee well. Ise got a man, an' he's long and tall, Moves his body like a cannon ball, Fare thee well, O Honey, fare thee well. One o' dese days, an' it won't be long, Call my name an' I'll be gone. Fare thee well, O Honey, fare thee well. 'Member one night, a-drizzlin' rain, Roun' my heart I felt a pain. Fare thee well, O Honey, fare thee well. When I wo' my ap'ons low, Couldn't keep you from my do'. Fare thee well, O Honey, fare thee well. Now I wears my ap'ons high, Sca'cely ever see you passin' by. Fare thee well, O Honey, fare thee well. Now my ap'on's up to my chin, You pass my do' an' you won' come in, Fare thee well, O Honey, fare thee well. Ef I had listened to whut my mama said, I'd be at home in my mama's bed. Fare thee well, O Honey, fare thee well.[4]
kissed an old lady today bcuz she had the anti possession tat and a custom love bumper sticker that had recognizable weapons and angel wings n things to spell it out.
2024🫶🏼
Its 2024. Im travelling and listening. Anyone going there?
I would sell my soul to Crowley to watch this show for the first time again 😢
Dueces. You can catch me at mtg tournaments, still not giving a cuck.
I can't be the only one hearing Hallelujah's guitar riff
The amount of physical acting in this scene, with no voices except Chuck's song (and even his physical acting while he is singing) is easy to overlook, but it's really good.
They completely ripped off Inside Llewyn Davis
Rewatching this after watching S4 of The Boys
Chuck has got a beautiful voice ❤
It’s splinter iykyk
Rob Benedict moves me
God we are sorry. Sometime anybody trying to Change you.😢
I am a 44 year old man going through the greatest heartbreak I've ever hadand this song touched me to the Core
'Fair Thee Well' hits harder after the line 'One of these days won't be long, you'll call my name and I'll be gone.' My eyes always get welled up at this line.
i guess it isnt a a popular opinion but i love what they did with chucks character
I really like 104. She is really hot. Really.
God I hate what they did with "Chuck" I did like that he got a tiny bit wrathful but in the end it wasn't the Chuck I wanted. I hated the last two seasons in general
God is good all the time
I wonder if god ever got over his fear of pissing in public
Just like most of the other choices of Supernatural lore: Villainizing god in the end was a fan service "How dare you view god as someone who cares' and so The last season was created. Which absolutely made no sense whatsoever
I miss this Chuck...
I dont know how many years now Ive had this on a few playlist of mine to just listen to this in any mood, but DAMMIT I still love this version of this song!!! Kudos Brudda... kuddos...
I went to a supernatural convention in Hawaii and the actors who played rowena and Chuck were on my flight I felt safe knowing god was on my flight and Rowena was pregnant they are together expecting a child together
He's voice is devine.
8 years ago??? Come on it was yesterday
They ruined Chuck after this.
So much pain in this version 💔
Shits so good, sadly you end up absolutely hating chuck/god
This song brings tears to my eyes every time 😢😢😢
This scene was so powerful, can't get over it. Absolutely love this show. Metatron's look of realization of what truly is going on with God/Chuck always breaks my heart, he did love his dad and this moment is what made me be able to look past all that he had done
He's got a great voice. I watched this video from a supernatural convention that they reqyested him to sing the song on stage. Still great even live.
🎶🤘🎶
2024 anyone?
Like I posted a year ago in the comments, I still come back for this song every now and then. That and the clip where Dean tells Crowley at the bar those words I still need to hear from time to time. "Family don't end in blood. It doesn't start there either. Family doesn't care what you can do for them. They're there for you for the good, the bad, they got your back. Even when it hurts. That's Family."
I hear you in 2024
Makes me wonder what Metatron would do if he knew the real storyline
The very best moment of the entire series happens in this clip. It's at about 2:10, where the officer comes back to life, and she sees that her husband is okay too. You may recall Amara forced her to kill her husband, just to be cruel ... so when she sees he's been restored, that is probably the only thing that matters to her.
one more day of sadness and tears without having more supernatural episodes .
They had a good run 15 years. Which is more than we can say for many shows. If it helps, rewatch the series from the begining and enjoy the long ride until you're "running on empty." And pretend tbe series finale never happened.
They shouldn’t have brought Chuck back after he left with Amara. Using literal, actual God as a Deus ex Machina was cool and badass as a onetime thing, he should’ve been uninvolved but not evil
1:46 it was at this point I started saying “He’d god! CHUCK IS GOD!” When I first seen it
Still to this day he is one of the hottest actors.
