I went to Spirit Halloween on Wednesday and Mr. dark scared the crap out of me

tbh peekaboo sucks, you can see the eyes light up before he jumps, he does not even jump that quickly, he could at least be on a spring, and his lines suck plus his mouth movement is pathetic, am glad he did not return to the 2022 season

I’m disappointed I didn’t get to go to spirit in 2020. Some of these props are kinda cool and I would have liked to see Uncle Charlie, the Butcher, Peek A Boo and Johnny Punk. ( just for the memes 🤣 )

Love the aquarium in "Reaper's Wharf". The year it was displayed, I was at the store when I saw this mom, her friend, and her young son (the kid was maybe seven or eight). The mom went into the aquarium while the friend and the kid stayed outside. The kid wanted to be with his mom, so he ran in after her. I see the mom come out without her kid, and I hear this blood-curdling scream and the kid comes running out, and into his mom's arms, sobbing. I felt so bad for him, he didn't know about the trigger-sensor bit with the shark.

My favorite animatronic from all of the spirit halloween animatronics is the twitching banshee, it's so iconic and it brings so much memories.
