I do agree with the comment below I clean my pump per tin of mixed up product and can't mixup a new tin and poor on top. I think the product has some great features however the cleaning part is absolutely crap it 20 liters per time After this take the pump apart and still gelled parts are coming out of the hose and pump part Suction foot and filter housing had a cone in it of gelled product so product has a to short potlife. And why is the loading table double as high as single pack intumescent High amount of waste per tin. So is this product really cost effective. Don't think so Or is there is a better way of cleaning ?

Wenn man mit Glättmittel glätten muss dann erst nach dem ersten Abziehen so dass das Silikon zuverlässig an der zu verfugenden Fläche haftet.

It's extra work granted but that's the problem in the UK in general, do it quick, not what's best.
The same result can be achieved with a single illbruck product in a cavity wall opening. Agreed a three step proceedure is probably more time consuning but there are other options avaiable. Search for illbruck TP652, TP653 or TP650 muiltifuntion sealing tapes. The later is ideally suited to domestic replacemnt windows and is a low cost option providing very high airtightnes and weather prtection that will last as long as the life of the window and with no mainatainence. There is more than one way to skin this cat if one considers themsleves to be a preffessional window installer.

Sorry Tremco, warum zeigt ihr den sowas, verrosteter pinsel ein absolutes NO GO dieses kann schon zu verfärbungen führen, dann wird die Fuge nie mit einen solchen unpraktischen zeug abgezogen, bei euch kaufen genügend Fugenfirmen ein, warum frägt man solche nicht für solch ein Video.
why the massive gaps round the new window?
Agreed gaps tend to be much larger than one would hope. For some unknown reason we seem to be incacapable of buildig to and mainatining tight tolerances in the UK. Therefore designed toerance gaps of 10mm quite often end up being any where between 10-20mm. Its poor workmaship and possibly lack of site management. The other reason particularly with modern composite windows is that they are increadibly heavy-which means that more "wiggle room" is needed to manhandle the frame in to position. Its not ideal but we seem to be "living with it".

Terrible product. Machine and equipment need to be cleaned continuously, solvent use is astronomical, aesthetic appearance is extremely poor when applying great than 2000 WFT.

Es ist fast unmöglich, gute Informationen zu einer guten Fuge zu bekommen. Finger und Eisstiel machen mit keinen Sinn. Fugenfux vielleicht, aber in allen Werbevideos (auch hier größtenteils) sind die Stellen herausgeschnitten, die zeigen, was passiert, wenn über eine Fliesenfuge geglitten wird... Haben Sie irgendwelche Tipps? Ich habe kein Interesse mehr an unsauberen Fugen, die wohl noch mit dem Finger oder Klebeband hergestellt wurden und entsprechend eine kürzere Lebensdauer haben. Auch frage ich mich, inwiefern Trennmittel vor dem Abziehen sinnvoll ist, da es ja auch an die Stellen gelannt, wo die Fuge an der Fliese letztendlich hafen soll...

do you really need a foam when using pre-compressed tape?
The PU Foam is a special elastic Formular that provides thermal and acoustic insulation- features that are often overlooked when high performamce windows are installed. U-values should be matained but unfortuntaly the gap between window and wall lowers efficiency. FM330 is one way of maintaining performance. It remains flexible and can accommodate movement between elements without being disturbed or degraded. This is not a normal foam. The whole illbruck i3 system is based on advanced building physics and include a whole range of adapatebale and integrated measures. What you saw in the video is just one "standard" approach. Windows that are A rated deserve an A rated installation otherwise the investment is pointless.

Ahhhh my HUSBAND lol
Alles gut bis auf untere Anschlußprofilebene. Super Band rundum und unten nur ein hohles 30mm Profil an dem der kalte Fensterbank anschließt. Ich wurde den Spalt bis Anschlußprofil so ausfüllen, fast bis Rahmenkante, der Fensterbank muss nicht bis zum Profil, es reicht minimal unten Rahmen zu kommen. Der Anschlußprofil selbst ist so eine Schwachstelle, verstehe ich nicht warum man das Teil nicht mit Dämmmaterial ausfüllt.
Da geben wir Ihnen Recht: Auch der Fensterbankanschluss sollte nicht vernachlässigt werden. Hier empfiehlt sich z.B. unser PR013 Anschlussprofil aus Polystrol-Hartschaum, das nicht nur die Lastabtragung des Fensters übernimmt, sondern auch für die entsprechende Wärmedämmung sorgt. Damit gibt’s da keine Schwachstelle mehr!

What is the name of the adjustable frame screws you use in this video? They appear to have a collar so can be used for proper adjustment to match using the tape rather than using plain concrete screws.

Is that a 2 part screed ie: latex We in the uk still use (mostly) f-ball 2 part screed latex and powder.. but anyone wanting to know how to level a floor watch this... For the simple reason they call it SELF SMOOTHING, not self levelling.. As there never has been any such thing.. Thank god for aeration rollers , worth its weigh in gold that... good job lads..
