I use Chemical Guys Lightening fast shampoo. I dilute it 20:1

wrap teflon tape the same direction you will be turning the bolt (clockwise). This way it will get snugged even tighter into place. Going the other way leads to crimping, bunching and eventually, leaks.

Nice work! Not sure how you're handling the heat there in Texas LOL It's been over 110* here in Las Vegas since the end of June.
It’s hot here. But I thank God we had few rainy days. Last week I had to ceramic coat a TRX in the heat. It was 102 but it’s not as bad as it used to get in the past. Stay cool bro. This heat is not a joke. If I work 2-4 hours in the heats feels like I did a 10hr shift. It wears you down!
@@esadetails 100% I have to start at 5am just to make sure I have some shade to finish. We've had some "sprinkles" of rain, but it just seems to increase the humidity here, and not really cool things down. Las Vegas doesn't normally have humidity like you do in Texas.
@@SinCityDetail we got rain for 2 days straight and it’s cool down here a bit. But yes humidity is no friend.

That thing look great!!! Out of the big 3 German brands who would you say has the best quality paint? I heard BMW has a very soft paint susceptible to swirls and rock chips.
It just depends on the what model you. I have seen Mercedes paint that soft and some models that have hard paint. It all comes down the model and what paint it has. Overall BMW is one of the easiest paints to work with.
Those damn wheels are the bane of my existence, even with a ceramic coat they are a pain to clean. Would have killed for a nice 5 spoke one wheel rather all the little crevices in those. Ugh
Yes I know. This car was back for a maintenance wash yesterday and key to clean these wheel properly is Rag company wheel mitt and wash the wheels twice. I dilute Brake Buster 10:1 and it gets the job done.

I’ve heard lots good things about built hamber. But can’t find it on Amazon in the states.
I like using Meguires wheel degreaser
Adams wheel cleaner is also good.

You are scaring me about that oil leak issue. I have an oil smell on my brz but I took it to a mechanic and he said it was just the valve cover gasket. How common is that issue?
I don’t know but I have a WRX as well. So this issue is common I’ve heard. You will have to read forums on Subaru about it.

Another awesome video man! Have you ever experienced a thicker coating of paint, less swirl marks etc. on these types of cars vs say high end car and been surprised?
Mazdas are known for thin paint. Fading is common. But the car that I was skeptical of was Tesla Plaid and last week I measured a Plaid with average thickness of 4.5mil. That is really great for paint correction.
