I love this museum. Best place to visit in Florida.

A 4 year old boy drowned when I was out there last year. The park is isolated and it is one way in and out. You will get some shady and odd individuals including some drifters. It’s a great place to hike otherwise. I did see about 20 state troopers congregating at a house right off the road once. They were all gone when I left the park later. Never heard about any incidents taking place there. But odd. I have had a few experiences at Port Hudson Battlefield right up the road though. Saw an old man walk behind an earthwork. When I reach the spot where he should have been he had vanished. I’ve heard what sounds like talking or mumbled conversations down in an isolated ravine. I’ve heard what sounded exactly like muffled canon fire.

You should be using a hose clamp instead of the tape to attach the hose, that tape will not last very long. In addition, you should be using an insulated duct so not as much moisture accumulates in the hose in the cooler months.

That's great to see people saving historical buildings. Kind of a bummer that there is not much interior features left. Regardless, thank you for saving a historical building! Rather see that than another new building containing a coffeeshop built in its place.

When I walked Eastern Cemetery in the late 80's they had a horse drawn hearse that belonged to the cemetery. I use to take photos of headstones for people that lived too far away to come to Louisville. The controversy of multiple people in the same grave was in court at that time.

I know of one very haunted cemetery in Saginaw county. Dice rd cemetery is very small but very haunted as well.

Question: What is the ultimate aim? Are you looking to convert the entire space to a home? It may be too late, but I was going to suggest that rather than plaster over the old, uneven brick again, that you consider first applying some spray-on water proofing, and then construct a 2x4 wall standing maybe a half inch away from the brick wall - enough to allow for deviations in the brick wall - so that you can get a level, plumb, and square wall, and so that you can insulate the framing cavity and the gap behind it. This would also allow you to rewire, and replumb the entire structure without having to embed things into the brick or have it exposed.

I rather do something right the firs time then go back at it again. Glad to see things are coming along.
