I tried to do one. My heart rate didn't stabilize ,so the operator said it can't be done. I was scared as hell inside the machine

From past 4 days I am tryingg hard to keep myself clam during MRI but failed 😥 😭 I always panic I don't know how to fix it..my Dr said MRI is extremely important for diagnosis
Hi Komal. Perhaps speak to your doctor about whether sedation during the MRI is an option for you.
Not to mention the annoying person talking to you through the speakers.
How about radiology aide?
How about you design a treatment that isn't torture? Maybe then people wouldn't dread going for help. Maybe design something that doesn't look like a big plastic asshole and feels like a coffin that's too small and sounds like Satan screaming at you.
HI Wendy, love your work! I believe the RANZCOG recommendation is currently not to perform both CFTS and NIPT as it does not increase sensitivity but increases false positives, patient anxiety, and subsequent diagnostic testing. Given the Recommendation for pts with low papp-a is to have uterine artery dopplers, would it not be sensible to simply forfeit the PAPP-A and just do the UA dopplers for your PET risk stratification.

@@jennyperez9927 Hi there! Glad to hear all went well with you. Please keep me in your prayers as I am under a lot of stress since the doctors are suspecting Down's syndrome (due to high T21) for my child. I just love my child so much now than ever before. It's my age factor scaring us here. Tomorrow I go see 3 doctors about this. In India, it is banned to ask what the child's gender is, so I really do not know for sure, but I think I have a baby girl. I would love girl or boy, no worries there, just want my baby fit and fine and no syndromes, etc. That is just so scary and I really want the best for my baby as any mother-to-be would. Please hold my baby and me high in your prayers.

Who taught the “friend” how to insert her earplugs! They are almost falling out - and would do nothing to dull the 120+ decibel noise of the machine.... they never mention the incredible noise these things make....

Rainbow Hash I tried in the standard bore last Friday and I totally freaked out. Didn't do it and won't be ever again!!!!
I had to do it last night (3:00 this morning) on FRIDAY THE 13!!!
There are short bore machines. I have one done last month, it was fairly open, end of feet and head was open, I could do that one. They sent me to another place today, dam, it was a tight long tube. No way, couldn't do that one
@@mrsgreengoof8031 Ask your doctor for a sedative (Calming) pill 1 hour and a half before you undergo the scan and try to inhale 4 deep breaths , pause 4 seconds , then exhale 4 slow breaths ( It is a Yoga technic ) . Take a towel with you and put it on your eyes . Remember that more than half of the people have a problem with MRI and small tight places , you are not the only one with this fear . You can do it ! I have been there and I was completely terrified the first time . Go for it ! ❤️
