I got it work on Ubuntu as well by installing printer-driver-gutenprint apt install printer-driver-gutenprint search the internet for askubuntu how to install pstocanonij

Windows 11 solution if the printer is not detected (or detected but can't print): - Remove the printer from Windows settings - Unplug the cable to prevent Windows devices autodetection - Install Canon driver - Plug the cable only when asked to prevent autoinstalling their driver - After that it should work
