Apologies for the delay mate, had to get the guitar out and remind myself what I played! I’ve never done tutorials but I can do my best to explain what I’ve done. Worth pointing out I’m not actually playing it correctly either - I just listened to the song and found something close enough that works for me! These are the chords: tabs.ultimate-guitar.com/tab/zach-bryan/sarahs-place-chords-4962736 And then for the intro I’m just doing the following: G - 6th and 3rd together - 2nd - 3rd C - 5th and 3rd together - 2nd Straight into another G, repeat the pattern then play another G (6 and 3 - 2 - 3) then play: D - 4th and 3rd together - 2nd C - 5th and 3rd together - 2nd G - 6th and 3rd together - 2nd - 3rd (then a wee strum) First verse is the same but let the final G ring on each line and obviously on the final line of the first verse you start strumming. Hope that helps!

For the verses, I’m playing A7 C D G D in a loop (start second verse on the G) For the chorus it’s C D Em A7 C A7 Em/Em7 in a loop, final Em/Em7 is played up on the 7th fret as a barre chord. Timings are a bit funny but if you watch the vid and have those chords handy it’ll hopefully be clear!

I didn’t play with a specific strumming pattern - it’s more just playing to the rhythm of the song itself, but it sounds like for the most part I’m playing D-U-D, with the initial D-U being quick and there being an emphasis on the second Down Hope this helps!

thank you very much! it won't be the clearest but hopefully this helps: Em (ring and pinky on 3rd frets of B and high E) D (into Dsus4) C G into G (F# bass) Em (the wee lick is just sliding from 3rd fret of the B to 5th and back down to 3rd, then open B, 2nd on the G, then open G) D (hammer pinky onto 4th fret of the G and off again, open G, 2nd fret on the D and open G again) (I've not actually done this very cleanly in the video) C D into D7 Appreciate that's not the easiest to follow but if you play the video at half-speed and follow that it should hopefully make more sense!

Thanks man! Seems a really obvious answer but it’s just playing until the guitar becomes second-nature, and you can sing without having to think about what your hands are doing. Other thing I’d say - I’ve not seen the tutorial you watched but what I’m playing for the verses is just ‘bass note - 3rd - 2nd - 3rd’ (apart from 3rd fret and 2nd fret on the 5th string at the end of the sequence, where it’s just ‘bass - 3rd - bass - 3rd’) which is a calmer picking pattern to sing over!
