Do you have two 9v motors installed? If so, how can they become so fast, have you connected several transformers to the rails? If I want to operate two engines at the same time, they don't really drive
I had 6 9V motors and 6 transformers powering the whole thing. Pretty sure it isn't good for the motors long term to be running under as much power and as fast as they are, especially with the weight of this train.

How is it possible to run More than one Engine one the Track How is it possible to use several engines at the same time on the track so that everyone has the full power?
The 9V Lego system is pretty much like any other DC model train system, however since the train is so heavy and I have so many motors on it I have connected up several power supplies/controllers across the layout. I want to say I have about 4-6 of them across this layout in sets of two connected in series putting out roughly 18V each. Hope that makes sense. Let me know if you got any other questions.

Oh my god that looks so great. I was like "man thats the convience of battery powered" then saw the 9v rails 😱😱 That's an amazing collection of rails! How did you couple all the cars together with power?
Thanks! The cars are connected together using 'jacob's bogies' and I run 3 9V motors on each end of the train.
They has an exceptional performance technique and an outstanding singing voice.

I bought this set 2 weeks ago on ebay for about $150 US. There were only two pieces missing and I got them on Bricklink for a few cent. It´s a great set. I love all the 9V-Sets from the 90s :-)
@@kexysbrickbuilts The 9v era will always have a special place in my heart, they are burned into my memory from the Shop at Home catalogs 😁. I've pieced together a fair bit of rolling stock from the 90's but I tend to stay away from the more pricey options 😅. Sounds like you got a great deal!
@@BatteryPoweredBricks Yeah, I know what you do. . I also know your channel and watch it regularly. I recently rediscovered my love for the 9V system when I built extra carriages for my Metroliner, which I still own from my childhood. This has led to me spending about $700 US on eBay for 9V trains in the last 6 weeks. Now I own besides the Metroliner the sets 4551, 4563, 4564, 4559, 4565, 4560, 4511 and 4512 😁Fortunately, they are all in very good condition. I feel like a little child when I let the trains run through my living room 🤣

You've got a GREAT layout there What did you use for the motor? A Lego Train motor, or a power functions/powered up motor?
Thanks! A Power Functions train motor, IR receiver, and battery box are all tucked in that last car.
