@@Thechristinamle the bikes are all over the property. They had them lined up at the departure lounge so I would start there, but it would depend. For example, if it’s breakfast, there will likely be a couple of them in front of the restaurant. They don’t give them out to the guests like they would a room key if that’s what you are asking. You just find one and go. It’s kind of fun when you do find some, or even better, when your bike is still there after you’ve left it.

I remembered years ago, we were told by our then government we do not need an international airport, tourists do not like black sand beaches etc. So they invested heavily in the Grenadines. Thanks to our present administration for having a vision and capitalizating on it. I am bringing a group of friends and coworkers with me for carnival. I agree, the scenery is amazing. Having sold Sandals Resorts for over a decade, as well as personal conversations with management and executives, I can tell you, resort openings almost always boils down to politics (sadly). Everything from infrastructure and flights, to local hires and taxes and more, have to be ironed out. In the case of St. Vincent, the airport was a big hurdle. They had an existing one but it was too small. So they (St. Vincent) had another location expanded upon. US and Canadian flights are better to this property because of it, but they are still limited (at the moment). That said, there are many incredible locations that Sandals owns in their property portfolio that they have their sights set on, but are waiting on various factors. Thank you very much for watching my video and I’m glad I could capture some of the beauty of this property.

@@Robert.Michael well I'm a vincentian living in Canada 🇨🇦 I know vincentian for certain everything the government do whether to develop to boost the economy whatever it is they always bring politics in it that's their mentally they have nothing else to do ,Buccament Bay is where my mom is from, I came in 2022 fly Air Canada it was amazing sandals resort wasn't there was the old construction so glad to see how fast the have built I'm very well impressed they've done a beautiful excellent job thank you for responding to my comments much appreciate it 😊 ❤️

That’s awesome! Yes, I had a very interesting conversation with a work crew (not resort staff) on resort about this. We expressed our hope that new tourism would not turn the beautiful island into a commercial island. But they too mentioned the island politics. Not only island politics but we were discussing worldviews as well. It was a great conversation. I look forward to going back to St. Vincent and exploring more of the island, as well as learning its history and indulging in the cuisine! Happy travels to you!

Thanks Joe! Gym is smaller. But I have to remind myself that technically there are in room fitness suites that if you wanted to, could circumvent the gym. That said, early AM 5-8 it should be a ghost town. By day 3 (video coming soon) there was no one in there other than me at 6-730. It is big, but not south coast big. I’d say less than 10 minutes from the gym to the beach at a good pace. The challenge comes regarding paths. To cross the resort, (width) you’ll need to strategize. It’s not as easy as cut through here (you can but there is grass and ponds, hard to do with nice shoes/heels.) and you can get to the central pool. You have to go up or down and around. They mitigate that with bikes, but I don’t rely on them because you never know where the bikes will be, or if they’ll be waiting for you when you get done eating/working out/etc. lol.

@@Robert.Michael Thank you for that update on the resort size and the path issues. We don't mind walking, and even South Coast was small enough (unlike Moon Palace in Cancun, which is beyond huge). The bicycles seem like a not great idea with the windiness of the paths and their relatively smaller size - at least that was our experience at Curacao, where bikers were constantly causing us walkers to move off the paths so they could get by, often in a 2-wide formation so they can talk.

@@joeperrone6677 yes, we did occasionally run into traffic jams (bikes, golf carts and people.) but as long as you aren’t rushing for something (sunscreen, dinner reservations, etc.) it’s not too bad.

I mean…some rooms have indoor gyms

@@JJSL905 yes. Those are great for cardio or light work with virtual trainers, as long as you don’t need machines.

Yes! They bring the cooler to your designated chair (the location you’ve chosen.) and stock it.

Enjoyed this room, but I prefer to stay on the other side of the resort because I like the quiet. While not incredibly noisy, it can be hard to afternoon nap if people are having a really good time in the beach.

Yes, tips are included at Sandals. You are not required to tip butlers, however, they are part of the select few staff that accept tips. Depending on the level of service and amounts you feel comfortable with, you can tip as much or as little as you'd like.

@@millzmoney9790 yes, we really enjoyed it. Our favorite Beaches is Turks and Caicos, even though it is hard to have a favorite.

You do not receive private pickup from Montego Bay if you are staying in Ochi. Tipping is dependent upon the service you receive. If you like your butlers, tip them more. If they do a lot for you, tip them more. Based upon the golden rule, I recommend tipping the butlers as much as you'd like to be tipped if you were a butler.

Each resort is different, but usually around 9AM.

The majority of Sandals staff are not allowed to accept tips. An exception to this would be the butler. You are encouraged to tip your butler.

100% you totally should. Think of it this way, if you could use a butler now, while at home, a vacation is all about making dreams come true, lol. The moment you hand over those extra bags to the butlers you can't help but smile. Let me know if you want a quote.

@@SilentKiller-fx1qj absolutely! Each butler is unique. When communicating with the entire team, your trip should feel effortless. They are the only ones on property to accept tips as well, meaning they often go above and beyond what is normal in order to make sure your stay is awesome. Love Beaches Negril btw.

I find the neck gets marked up if I shave every other day, or if I'm shaving too fast. That, and a brand new blade may also irritate it. You'll still get the occasional scrape or bump, but you worry far less about accidentally removing slices of skin, lol. I have not tried this in/with water or after applying anything to the face before hand. That may smooth things out?
