I loved Isabeau Levito's literical skating; she is artistic for now a seventeen years old and has time to mature and she can jump because I witnessed them better when she is not 🚭🚫 nervous and she is capable: I was routing for her as an American because she represented us AMERICANS against the WORLD 🌎🌍 and I was happy that she received a 🥈 medal for her efforts: usually, those skaters is the top three controlled their destiny, she overcamed her nervousness and skated her long program the best of her ability without making too many mistakes in that program and any mistakes that were made; she was penalized to receive second 🥈 place: we Americans have good skaters but they are working on their confidence in their skills and their training and just have fun with their passion, and not 🚭🚫 put unnecessary pressure on themselves, they would do FINE and can compete with the best of the best as Levito and Glenn!!! Thank you for sharing though 😁😘: mostly appreciated!!!!😊

Alright, I’m just going to say it. The jumps are great, he’s probably your next Olympic men’s skating champion, I’m not taking that away from him. But skating is about more than jumps, dammit. Go watch a Toller Cranston skate. Toller has more LYRICISM in his little finger than Ilia has in his whole body. Watch Ilia’s positions in spins and serpentine dance steps, and the in-between jump sections. They’re small and slow and awkward. Without the jumps I don’t think he’d even have made the cuts. Check out Peggy Flemming and Dorothy Hammel too. Hell, check out Torvel and Deen’s Bolero, not flashy, but lyric as hell. And Perfection to a TEE. I just wish there was more concentration on the other aspects of a COMPLETE program. It’s not just about jumps, and I REALLY HATE the fact that this is what judges, coaches and skaters concentrate in these days. I mean, compulsories are even gone. So much is missing this way.

I was there and the crowd sounded amazing on Camra. But it was so much louder then you would think In person lol. So amazing to see all the amazing people skate in every event!
