Red Rover Red Rover I need you to send bendover right over
My dad made one of these 65 years ago. Spent many hours playing with our family of 4. Any idea where plans could be found to make one? We used to call the game …,Kick Off
With the right tools you can just get a sheet of wood and carve in the spaces I'd get creative - it's more fun when there is a story behind the building process :)
This game includes a joker
Excellent video! I love this game, I just bought a very nice 3D parcheesi on Amazon, have you seen it? Blessings!🙂🙂🙂
No I have not, but it sounds cool!
@@bivocgameindex I love this game! 3D Colombian Parcheesi on Amazon
Interesting game, this could be mixed with scoring rules like Rummy, playing rounds and adding points to the ones with cards left in their hand, the player with less points after n rounds wins.
Absolutely! I personally find this game's niche is good in the shorter-length category. I usually am with light-hearted people in a light-hearted setting when playing this, so the scoring might not go over well, as it would change the feel of the game, but if your crew of people like it that way, go for it!
Love that old deck..always love using old decks..kinda vintage feels into it.
The older they are the more nostalgic they become. I've used this deck for at least a decade off and on. Thought I would include this deck in my videos because of how nostalgic they are to me.
Ah a climbing/shedding game! Also, we need to get a new deck of cards.
I've got a whole bunch of cards to choose from, many of which are by far not "new" haha. I thought these would be fun because the back of them shows " V " which is in theme with my biVoc index. These cards, and the blue ones that are briefly on screen 0:23 are classic cards I used to play with when I was younger, so I thought it would also be special to bring them into the index videos, plus they are one of the few decks I have two of similar yet different backs for whenever I do double-deck games. I was trying to get away from the bicycle-back cards for personal reasons.
@@bivocgameindex sounds good
Thanks for that, one of the clearest to understand on you tube, You speak clearly and slow enough for us beginners to pick up on,
Glad it was helpful! :)
A video I should have done, but didn’t do due to the card values.
My family added a special deal when rolling a four. You could swap your marble with anyone on the board or you could just move four spaces.
Sounds like a wild house rule!
what happens if you're down to your last piece because the other 3 are home, you roll both dice and you get a number that makes that last piece land one space away from home. Do I move the piece one space from home and lock myself out of the game? Or do I skip my turn and wait to go again? Or is there something else that should be done?
Very good question. The "use it all or lose it" clause only applies to the bonus movement from capturing a piece or sending a piece home, and the "tops and bottoms" you get from doubles. Normal die rolls do not need to be used in their entirety to be used at all.
i was going to play with my grandma but we forgot how so thank you!
You're very welcome! Game time with family is always the best! (unless you play Monopoly then it's cut-throat.)
Very clear and helpful thank you!!
Thank you taught me how to play
You kept mentioning during the video "If unable to use I lose it." Like when capturing an opponent I move 20 free spaces. Then you say if unable to use all 20 spaces I lose it. What exactly can cause you to "not be able" to move the spaces? You never explained that part. The only thing I can think of that would cause that is if there is a blockade set or if you have no pieces out of start. But you would have to have at least 1 piece out to have captured someone so why wouldn't you be able to move that 1 piece 20 spaces forward other than a blockade being set up?. Another thing that could happen I guess is that you are less than 20 spaces from home and you need exact amount to go to home. So if you are 15 spaces from home when you capture someone then you cant move the 20 spaces correct?
A BLOCKADE WOULD STOP YOU FROM MOVING ALL 20 SPACES
You basically answered your own question, but yes. If your pieces are stopped by a blockade, or you already have two people on that space, or you can't make it into home exactly then yes, you could lose it. The space bonus for capturing and making it home, as well as the "tops and bottoms" bonus for doubles must be used in full or not at all.

Isn’t this Kemps?
Alternate name for it yes. I've always known it as Quems, or at least that's how I remember it being told to me, but I've heard Kemps before

New video!
Welp I guess I can't play this cause I'm a pig.
Tough luck :/
Good video
Thanks!
So I’m assuming that this uses a double 12 set of dominoes? It’s very important to always mention the equipment needed when making videos. It’s a mistake I have made a few times.
Fair criticism. I'll add it to the desc.
Ah something different. Just found your channel.
Happy to see you! Many of the games I'll post I came up with at some point so I'm sure you'll find something fresh.
I feel like this channel could really take off.
Shh no spoilers.
