A Day of Days
During my routine training flight with my good friend; we hear a mayday call on the emergency frequency 121.5. This is the frequency you broadcast on in case of any emergency. As you can hear the pilot of the aircraft that went down was so calm during his radio call in the midst of all the chaos. We were going to assist however we were running low on fuel and needed to get back. Additionally there were already two aircraft that volunteered and were assigned to be a search party. It is also worth noting that despite our good intentions to help; sometimes it is also very dangerous to have multiple aircraft in a confined airspace. I made the call to return back to base. To the pilot who made it out; a job well done in getting out in one piece and demonstrating fearlessness and quick decision making during the stressful incident. I made contact with the Pilot of the downed aircraft post accident; and he approved the video being published on social media.

Hey there guy outstanding choices. I have the jeep wrangler with towing package but no trailer brake controller. Did you have to install the trailer brake controller or have you been not using the trailer brakes. Man I was afraid to pull this thing with my jeep because of it being a massive windsail.
@@USA2283 I don’t recommend pulling with Jeep. Eventually your transmission will wear out. It’s doable but I don’t recommend it. I had the shop install the wiring. I’ve got a Bluetooth brake controller .
@@primitiveflieroutstanding. I have the 6spd manual with 3.6L V6. With the manuals being known to fail without towing I was terrified of even hauling this thing empty. It’s also annoying they have a $1300 towing package but no trailer brake controller. I use a ford excursion to haul all my stuff around but I daily drive my jeep. I appreciate the video and comment replies.

I have a R1 M and R6 The R1 handles better then the R6 hands down it's lower then the R6 which is very tall and you really have to ride hard to get the results. The R6 I think looks better the the R1... the mirrors vibrate on the R1 and don't on the R6 my biggest grip is the TFT display it's small and sits to flat it needs to be like the Triumph 765 rs with a TFT that can be angled so you can see it. FYI :Yes the brakes are not the best it's the OEM pads that are the issue the EBC GPFX pads totally transforms the brakes..
So, 446 huh? I like it too, but I gotta stick with 448. Yeah, we fly at the same school.

Does it let you pick what gauge cluster it displays even though you’re not in eco sport or normal?
@@yamirlealjr yes you can cycle through different styles. If you get the package for multi media I believe it will give you a full display on your dash and also a higher media screen for infotainment. I also believe you will get a heads up display. But standard model yes you can change the look of the gauge clusters

Looking at buying an Interstate 5'x8'. Any updates on how your trailer is performing/holding up?
@@beefy1231 trailer is fantastic. I would stick with interstate. Great support/warranty and workmanship. I’ve had the trailer for over 4 years and zero problems.

@@beefy1231 no problem! Only issue I had actually was I hit a ripped up tire on the road and it bent the wheel protector; you know that sheet metal that’s like a fender that protects the wheels. It’s a minor bend nothing noticeable. But the trailer itself is perfectly made. Shop around and make sure you negotiate their price. They were able to sell me that 6x12 enclosed dual axle for about $6500. I’ve seen other places sell cheaper; especially here in California
I’m a beginner here. I noticed how you downshifted without holding the clutch how did you do that? And can you do that when upshifting
@@Luckyyyy12 most modern liter bikes will have an autoblipper and quick shifter . Pretty much clutch less shifting. The 600cc bikes also have this feature but not all of them.
Hey there. I have a Nissan frontier with a V6 engine. Similar to your Jeep engine. I'm curious if you have any issues towing your trailer up mountains, steep hills, etc. and how does it do at highway speeds? 65-75mph. I'm wanting to get the exact trailer you have. I have an adventure bike I'll be hauling and camping out of the trailer once I'm at my destination. Thanks!
@@thetrailbuzzard I can’t give you direct answer. Nissan frontier is a totally different vehicle. My jeep is a 2.0L 4 cylinder turbo. I would look at your towing capability and just make sure trailer and load will not exceed it.
@@primitiveflier Sorry, let me ask another way. Does your Jeep tow your trailer without struggling on hills? Do you feel your Jeep is adequate for towing your trailer? I was only mentioning my tow vehicle to engage the question. Thank you so much!
@@thetrailbuzzard It did not struggle however after a cross country literally drove from Florida to California; I heard a whining noise from the transmission. Not sure if this was caused by the tow after a long haul..

Are you flying out of sac executive? What flight school did you go to?
A close friend of mine has an invite only flight school and I’m flying there. There’s a few good schools out here; you just have to look carefully.

What was the airspeed crossing the threshold, both seemed fast. Friend flies an RV out of there, runway didn't seem that bad too me.
Personally I come in faster than normal I was around 70kias. But I should have been around 65kias or even 60kias. Thanks for watching !
Same here it doesn’t look bad but you can definitely feel the uneven pavement and the slightest pitch up and if you hit the pavement; it will bring you airborne.

@@jamessobredo7847 thanks for watching doc ! Yes very dangerous and even though I double check if there were any notice to airmen (notams) it did not mention the uneven pavement of the runway. It picked up the plane in the video and threw me airborne, hence the go around. Never again will I land here.

Does the chain rub on the exhaust ?
@@ewcha2 no it doesn’t rub on the exhaust. These bikes along with the aftermarket pieces are engineered to fit perfectly. I can only speak for the parts that are installed in my bike and in this case the arrow titanium exhaust. It’s Italian made product and it is a perfect exhaust which will be much cheaper than the official exhaust that Ducati is endorsed with and partnered with which is Akrapovic. If you’re careful and won’t be tempted to make bad decisions then go for it. Keep in mind insurance for you at your age will be next to unaffordable with a super sport 1000cc

Nice car. I wanted the white. Wife likes underground. So that is what we have. I have seen three in the wild. Two were underground. So much for originally. I guess people don't buy Camrys and accords to be original or stand out anyway.

Does it have daytime running lights?
Yes it’s got DRL. I believe for the SE the DRL is the two amber lights close to the nose and also the projector lamps are on but at a medium intensity setting.

I notice when you are driving try and keep your speed needle at a steady speed and you can keep it in ev mode for quite a while and coast to stops slowly helps the gas mileage

Bro did you feel a vibration I have the same bike I got vibration when I hit 120 and up. It could be the Bars end the problem
Yup lots of vibrations. I ended up selling the bike. It gave me way too many issues. Idk might just be a one off thing. Ended up getting an r1m
