According to WAEC and university index, the most educated people comes from the East and predominantly igbos and ibibios. Yorubas are educated but igbos are ahead of them. However, may I offer some suggestions which will give some credibility to your future efforts: (1). Try to establish the criteria for your evaluations. (2). Our young people believe so much in what they read in the internet nowadays, so for their sake, kindly do some bit of research before you publish. (3). There is no tribe called Calabar. I assume you intended to say Efik or Ibibio. People often confuse Towns or States with linguistic or cultural groups or Tribes. I know someone whose kids keep saying that they speak Delta and not Igbo. Delta is neither a language nor a Tribe. It is simply a State. In the same vein, Benue, Anambra, Zamfara, Ogun are not tribes or languages, they are simply States created a short while ago ! Kind regards.

Your placing the Hausa as the 3rd educated tribe is completely wrong. I am from there and I know that as far as education is concerned they are one of the least educated. They have many educated and politically savy elites but the ratio of these to their population is very poor. What about almajiris, etc? You need more research before delving into topics like this

Igbos can argue all they want, but in 100 years to come, their academic excellence cannot be matched with the Yorubas. Op is talking about MOST EDUCATED, illiterate Igbos are talking about WAEC/JAMB results. Whilst thousands of Yorubas travel abroad each years for education, the Igbos travel to Lagos for spare parts/house-help apprenticeship. Most banks executives are Yorubas. Check the tech sectors too. Doctors, Nurses or anything that has to do with reading, the Yorubas owns that stuff. The Igbos are enterprising & industrious, but not academic.

I never rated Western Education as much as the African Educated system the very FIRST University was base In Mali, Jet-Black people by FAR way more Educated than Westerners, again, I never rated the Western Educated system & I am from the West.
