That organ playing can raise the dead! Oh God, Why did I click on this while tweaked on Purple Microdots! AHHHH!

Right from the start this is a deliciously serious gothic horror, complete with torture chamber in a creepy dungeon, then sadly after about half an hour it it turns into a light comedy with jolly music when a chap arrives in his car looking for water. What were they thinking? This whole ten minute sequence ought to be removed and destroyed. What starts off as a terrific horror turns into a Abbot and Costello type comedy. Although there are some good scenes later on for me the film was ruined.

Not sure why they needed to wake up the other monsters. Clone Blue Demon and those other guys proved capable of overpowering Santo on their own, the "genius" mad scientist just needed to plan a better ambush than that absolute bungle in the woods 😂

These characters playing the monsters are so cheesey as the vampire and the Wolfman come out in the day time and the Frankenstein monster needs a haircut and last but not least the cyclops monster has a weird looking eye and appearance the female vampires have a serious overbite lmao. the dentures are too big😂

Thoroughly enjoyable. The vampire masks are great. Occasionally such special efffects made it into American films. This is also good for improving my Spanish comprehension.

This has been one of my favorite MST3K episodes since forever, it's always neat to go back and watch the movies they featured without the missing parts they cut to fit their show's runtime. In their version we don't even get to see the main henchman's death!

1. Ok even though it’s a movie. The first chainsaw cut to the foot would have ended the fight pretty quick. 2. The cut to the back is already a mortal injury so he’s being slowed down due to blood loss. 3. Cut to the chest he has a plate to prevent fatal damage to his internal organs. Smart move on the hero. If he hadn’t had that metal plate there it would have been game over with a fatal blow. 4. Alright now our villain is now dealing with major blood loss due to the gash to the abdomen. He would be bleeding out faster. So now adrenaline kicks in. 5. Now our villain has another mortal gash to the arm brachial artery has been cut and another slash to the gut now his internal organs are now bleeding from the chainsaw. 6. Finally our villain dies from impalement by chainsaw stuck on trigger lock. Let’s look at our villain’s injury list 1. Slash to the foot 2. Laceration to the abdomen 3. Arm has been lacerated with arterial damage 4. Internal organ damage 5 impalement internal organ damage organ failure and exsanguination followed by death. This is not his day to be a villain.

That was pretty fantastic, despite the shortcomings of available monster effects. The piano score set a perfect gothic mood, and the charismatic portrayal of Guillermo Murray opposite Mauricio Garcés truly anchored the story. Also the fight with the hunchback was fairly amazing, given that none of the furniture they were knocking each other into and on to was designed to break apart like we do in american films for safety reasons.

This fight looks like something Jackie Chan would direct considering how over the top badass and hilarious it is.

Fun and silly Mexican film. The space shots were far better than Plan 9. Kudos on that one señores. So, Mars needs women Venus needs men. I wonder what Mercury needs, hot tamales? In the end, even tractor fell in love with the jukebox. Happy ending!
