I have a question do you take the chain off from the side or how is it cause the vedio is not clear enough
didnt take chain off, what i do in most case when replacing head gasket. l would put marks on chain and also the teeth and use zip tie to secure chain so i dont have to re-do the engine timing

Spray starting fluid in the throttle body then crank up the car if it turns over its the fuel pump 🫱🏾🫲🏽did this with my charger

What head is rear head? I have to replace on my 14 Caravan 3.6. Thanks
@@SpectrumVans The right hand, the second head, the rear head refer to the one that is changed here. IF you are working on this head, I suggest you remove the engine. It takes 3-5 hours and avoids tons of headache.

What is the name of that tool he used to yank off that part on the wheel?
How did you get the Bank 1 head off without removing the timing cover? Everywhere I look I see that the only way to remove the right head on my 2013 Dodge Grand Caravan 3.6 SXT requires removing the timing cover which subsequently requires removal of the lower oil pan because of the hidden bolts securing the bottom of the cover. It's a pain!
Anyone have the answer to this question? Would be very much appreciated 🙏🏻

Just out of curiosity, how much does it cost to do that repair?
1. Remove filter and cover. Change the O-ring on the filter cover. Put the filter cartridge into the filter housing cover then screw the cover in. 2. Don't go under car when it's only supported by jack. 3. There's an oil drain plug. You removed the oil level sensor. Use tool VW T10549, available from Snap On for $15, or SDMV1 bit for $11, or equivalent to remove the drain plug. Replace the drain plug. It's identical to that used in the VW Tiguan (and others).
you can change oil on 992 (991 too) without lifting the car. however, you have to be NOT fat, and NOT have short arm.
