BEWARE OF BENCH. I used Bench for 3 years for my S-CORP. WORST experience I have ever had with a tax bookkeeper. Outright lied to me on several deadlines and they pass you around like a potatoe so you don't actually get a dedicated person. It's a lie. Their turnover is high because tax pros end up leaving them. It Took them 10 months LATE to get basic fax filing done because they changed back end systems and managers 3 or 4 times on me. Always saying sorry we have to reconfirm and start everything over. They don't sync with Quickbooks because they want to keep you locked to them. You will constantly have to categorize your own expenses for each purchase, debit, credit, checks, etc. They only do about 20% of it and then ask you to "confirm" everything else which is doing it yourself anyway. You would think after awhile they understand your business expense but no. Been with them 3 years and it was hell. Wouldn't recommend. The YEF is also not accurate and they will leave shady notes in them to act like they don't know if what they put in the Year End Financial is correct. BEWARE way over priced too. I was paying about $7000 per year for the full services with tax. Never again. Just get a local CPA for half the price.

I’m still confused on making one. Lately I’ve been studying Real estate and bought a course from Rich Dad and they had mentioned that I need to learn how to create a financial statement. And for someone who’s berly starting and don’t know anything about accounting, I’m pretty much lost. Everytime I see a financial statement to me it looks like filling up a W-2, which I always have to ask someone to help me fill it up. I don’t have no business, I’m unemployed which is why I’m taking the time to learn real estate to escape the rat race. I don’t have debt, I have good credit, I don’t have assets, I have more liabilities than assets like my credit cards, phone bill, car insurance, rent, phone bill… I recently got fired unfairly, and from that life really slap some sense out of me which is why I’m trying to learn real estate, to make my own money, be more financial educated so I can be financially free and do what I want, not only that, I wanna help my parents since it pains me to see that they’re still working for their age I just wanna payback for everything they had done for me… Can you please guide me on how to understand more about financial statements… I haven’t bought a house yet I’m still learning real estate, and again I don’t have a company/business so, how can I still make one without having a business 🤔
