Hey Curtis! Thanks for watching! I’ve had some good results from solar trail cams even in the woods with filtered light. If they are cellular trail cams with small solar panels… that’s a different story as they use much more battery.

Hey thanks for watching and for the kind words. Tactacam cameras run on either AT&T or Verizon which are US-based cellular companies. I found this website that looks like it offers UK cellular trail cams. ukwildlifecameras.co.uk/shop/trail-trap-cameras/cellular-wireless-trail-cameras/ You could also purchase a trail camera that takes a separate SIM card which should work just about anywhere (see my Reolink Go Ranger PT video). There is a company that provides SIM cards (EIOT Club) and you can get one that works in your area.

@mountainbuck yea sir, only 2 settings unlike Tactacam which is 0 thru 9 and the one facing same direction was on #7 for sensitivity and no sun flare pics.

Hey thanks so much! I will try and see if I can find that info, although my 30 day data plan has ended (so not sure if I’ll be able to). I will say that this camera did a good job not false triggering with all of those ferns and the wind. I was checking another camera simultaneously in that same area and it did way worse with false triggers than the Reolink. Thanks for watching 👍🏻

Hey I just looked up my usage and it looks like I was right at 2048 MB Total. That’s right at the 2 GB limit for my 30 day plan… so it may have even stopped recording as it maxed out (at the end of my 3 week test). I also jumped in live a few times, so that has an impact of data usage. Hope this helps!

Ah man. How was your cell signal where the camera was mounted?

@@mountainbuck well 3 of the 4 properties that I hunt have very little service but this is a product that is used in the country so they need satellite technology. The 4th property is a 5 hour drive there and back and the batteries die in 5 weeks not even taking a picture everyday so I am not happy with this product I will be waiting for satellite tech and solar combo before I would purchase another one
