Young lady, I applaud you enthusiasm for the word! However, since you are reading from some book that is clearly not the TRUE word of God, let me quote those verses from THE TRUE WORD OF GOD, the one and only, King James Bible! It doesn't say things like, this is how we know love, or what love is! The verse your reading from that book you hold has been twisted and corrupted! Now let's read it from the one and only true word of God, the King James Bible! Comments welcome! (1 John 3:16-18) "Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. {17} But whoso hath this world’s good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him? {18} My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth." Do you see the difference in YOUR version and MINE? Please read it and pray about it so that God will give you the understanding thereof! Don't lean toward your own understanding! Some people will say, "Well, it says..." This or the other! Read it word for word! "Hereby" or "By this" we know the love OF GOD...! Your book leaves this out! Leaving God out of the picture is not a good thing! "...that HE..." GOD, not Jesus "...laid down HIS life for us!" How can God die? Jesus is the VISIBLE embodiment of the INVISIBLE God! God is a Spirit, not a PERSON! The Holy Ghost is a Spirit, not a person!

Excellent sermon. "Someone" recently put out their "sermon" starting off by explaining that "angry people never changed my mind." We are so fortunate to have a God who listens to us when we are angry. I find my daughter is a lot less angry when I listen to her before she gets angry. And in her anger, listening also helps. She's won plenty of debates over the years. I and the "someone" grew up with the same parents who were the tone police and were plenty angry themselves but never had ears for us if we were angry. Empathy starts by remembering how you felt when you were younger and deciding how you want your own kids to feel when they are frustrated and need to be listened to. As Job 31 says, if I didn't listen to my employees, why would God listen to me?

Millions of Christians will be cast into outer darkness because of their ignorance of God's word. For everyone who does not believe Jesus came out from God, they will die in their sins. Jesus said “when ye have lifted up the Son of man, then shall ye know that *I am he, and that I do nothing of myself;* but as my Father hath taught me, I speak these things.” It is God the Father who is with Jesus and has not left him alone, for Jesus does all things that pleases the only true God (John 8:28-29, John 17:3). We must become one, even as they are one (John 17:22).

I pray daily for the marriages of our church. That they have godly support and protection over the marriages. The marriages of our church set example and foundation for our church, and generations to follow. The mentors and example; of our church and the enemy intentionally attacks and destroys/divides. 40-50% of first marriages end in divorce. The divorce rate for second marriages is even higher, with approximately 60-67% of second marriages ending in divorce May the Lord restore marriages, hearts of patience and forgiveness, Godly mentors that can speak to and walk with the married couples.
