This was awesome. Got an 04 1200 that is now leaking oil from what appears to be the front of the engine. Will need to determine what it is and wouldn’t surprise me to have to get into what you showed here.

Use hair spray instead of grip glue. Wearing gloves, place your free hand at the end of the grip and push it on while blowing compressed air into it. Lay the air nozzle in line with the grip, if that's not clear.

I'm not really familiar with the Harley world or "Club Style" either, but the Wide Glide that you rode was really cool! The Wide Glide looks like a fun project. Cool video.

I'm debating between flipped clubmen bar or drag bars with a 2 inch bend for my magna. The buckhorn style bars kill my back after about 30 minutes and I want to be further over the front end for the twisties. I'm also going from a 12.5 to a 13.5 inch rear shock so the bike is less sluggest. It's a 500lbs bike I know It will never be a sports bike but I want it to be a little more sport touring. I am In love with the v4 and the fact I can surprise sport bike riders in a straight line

The thinking behind pre-filling the filter is that there will be a brief moment where no oil is being pumped into the engine. As Harleys don't use pressure-lubricated bearings I can't see the point, nor a way to do it without spilling oil. There is also no load on the engine at this point and I have never seen evidence of not filling it causing a problem - oh, and the Official Harley Workshop and User Manuals don't mention it.

Bought a salvage bike and changing the fluids, what weight oil would you use in the transmission? Some people say the 20w50 motor oil works in the transmission and others say 80-90 gear oil.

Longest trips Ive done were only 2 to 4 hours. But what made those a lot less tireing were earplugs. I just got some cheapo touring ones from Alpine. I never expected it to make a big difference but its honestly night and day. This combined with my cheap Mornystar headset makes a 2 hour trip feel like 15 minutes, and thats on an old, cheap and not soo comfortable gs500e

I have a 2009 Concours and I have ridden it 752 miles in one day. It has a lot of power and I usually get about 45 mpg. I put a trunk on it too and this gives me plenty of storage along with my tankbag.

Not enough go juice ? Hmmmmm I’ve owned five sports touring bikes. That 1400 is nastier power wise than any I’ve had. My Honda st1300 is much milder and it’s still way too fast.

Lara Gut seemed to have done well while Odermatt seemed to have some issues (In all honesty, they are really good so Odermatt might have gotten "only" a top10 placement which is bad when you are from such a ski-focused society
