Morning Basket Routine from an EXPERIENCED Homeschooler
as much as i enjoyed this easy looking and clearly explained how-to video, i was thoroughly pleased to see the kids helping and learning in the process. now i'm going to start my pickles. thank you so much.
For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believeth in him shall not perish but have eternal life. That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead thou shalt be saved. If we confess our sins he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. For the wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ. Repent for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.
I am looking for a lectin free diet for my chickens... no grains... if you pressure cook beans it destroys the lectins. Wheat lectins are indestructible.
This has got to be one of the best videos I have ever seen of mother and children making pickles. I think you are very blessed to have a family like this and I hope you produce more videos like this. Thanks!
If you have a large, wild grass forging area that when your chickens run on it for a month is not totally grazed down that’s all you need. Ideally have something to attract insects, but a natural grass field will do that that would be their natural food things like miners, lettuce, comfrey, and different weeds attract enough bugs. I personally let my orchard grow wild the chickens. Keep the worms from investing my fruit in the tall grasses, attract insects, and feed my chickens.
What is the white stuff you use?
I see you kids doing a wonderful job!
Those bands don’t work the hair tie
They do seem to work when the kids wear them on their ankles!
Thank you ❤
You didn’t have to cover the seeds? Tge birds didn’t eat them all!
I love your coop and wish you would do a tour or build plans of it. Great video!
Thanks! The closest we have … Building a Chicken Coop czcams.com/video/PtmnKecxAxw/video.html
I'm sorry to say.....I wasted 5 min of my time, that Ill never get back. I thought this was an instructional video on dehydrating pears. I learned nothing.
Nice
Can I use tPost all along instead of the wooden at the ends?
I would like to grow grapes here is Cleveland and wonder what varieties you chose ... We don't like Concord, so I would like to find a great green and red grape variety mostly for just eating not cooking or making wine or anything. Suggestions?
I'd get a hose end sprayer, big quart one at least maybe a gallon end sprayer, or a large pump sprayer.. use warm water and a lot of dish soap, don't make it sudsy pour in after you fill with water then mix in gently.. spray that entire yard and border with that liquid several times a week at night or just before they go out to play, saturate that lawn and the borders, soak fences and the other side as much as you can, trees, bark,.. other things to put in water mixture... make a nice strong tobacco tea... about 2 ounce per gallon white vinegar.. mind you this wont just kill tics it kills all insects .. plants love it, but be mindful of bees, like if blackberries are flowering let the bee's pollinate first .. then soak again and again, you can spray when fruit is bearing or after pollinating . . spray roads if you can, fields, woods, wherever you can .. also get 8-10 chickens for your yard, guineas, put up bird houses, they all love eating tics, address livestock and animals look over pets real well, they can bring tics indoors so look em over good they can easily become infested...
Where is the recipe?
i need to know tall medium and short
I'm a new subscriber. This build is exactly what I need for my situation, and you did a fantastic job at explaining things for dummies like me. Much appreciated.
So heart warming ❤️
Wow beautiful, how long does it take to germinate and come to this level ?
It varies depending on the variety but some of ours started poking through the soil in about a week and took a couple of months to be in full bloom
Where can I find the book
My friend, Alisha from wholemadehomestead.com shared it with me.
Horse manure with straw, cheap and lot of bugs.
That little guitar diddy at the beginning is a jam!
Just curious, why don’t you mix the oils in with the wax and coconut oil before pouring it into the jars?
What a blessing for you n your family. I'm going to try that. I'm on the list for chip drop, but yet to receive any.
What's your UPDATE? what foodscraps don't work for chickens? What about the Day1-Day10 chicks? Must they have grains? They can't eat veggie scraps can they? Good thinking.
I like the string idea. Great if you have unlevel land. Would prefer to run the wire all the way through the wooden post. I'm using 9gauge wire for muscadine grapes.
What gauge wire did you use? I saw many different gauges and wasnt sure what might hold.
They’re all SO beautiful ❤🌸 but I didn’t see any sunflowers 🌻 come up, did any of them ever grow??? I was thinking about trying that myself. I LOVE how you reused everything that you tilled up instead of just throwing it out. I’ve started digging up the top layer of grass in the areas where I’m starting to plant things and taking it to bare patches in my yard and replanting it there. I also like utilizing any left over dirt to fill in pot holes in my drive way and yard. 😊 Thank you both for your time and for sharing this with us. God bless you! TO ALL WHO READ THIS: 🌞🛐Our Almighty Father God, Lord & Savior Jesus Christ, Precious & Powerful Holy Spirit LOVE YOU SO VERY MUCH.✝️🕊️ Look up- ❤ John 3:16 KJV & John 1 KJV ❤
They did eventually come up but took a bit longer 👍
I visited an organic farm in Colorado. They put a big bale (3×6) of tricalate for their chickens to eat, sprinkling lay food in the bale periodically. One bale fed 50 chickens for a month or two? I'd like to try alfalfa bale with fermented feed - 8 chickens... next season
Awesome job…I’m going to try this! Thank you ladies!
when the wildflowers die, do you need to cut them down, and will they come back the following year??
If you get a perennial mix they should reseed and continue to come back each year. I like to go out and make sure some of the seeds hit the soil before the birds get to them all.
I can't eat grain, legumes and I found eating grain fed eggs was not good for me. Thanks for this.
I was worried that having a cat on hand to lightly push down seeds after gently covering them with soil was protocol… but FYI, a Yorkshire terrier will also suffice!
Lol. That should work about the same!
We want to do grain free…. thank you for this video!
👍👍👍👍👍❤❤
Thank you
Something you might want to try to provide winter heat and extra light in the winter are incandescent lights. String them along the frames to keep them off the plants. Also an old mountain trick down here is to put old quilts over the cold frame on cold night to help retain heat. Take them off during the day time hours. Another trick is to put a little candle under a clay pot. They give off more heat than you would think.
Good tips!
Finally a video with a recipe to make jam/jelly with honey. I can all kinds of stuff all summer getting ready for winter. Thanks for the recipe.
Hope you enjoy!
Thanks for great video Could you please guide me about the distance between T posts ?
You want to base it off of the distance required between your grape vines when you plant. It’s potentially easier to plant the grapes first and then place the posts between them. Make sure you run and stringline so you get them planted nice and straight! Good luck!
From experience 15 feet between posts is a good place to start. We placed our at 10 feet and by the 3rd year it was completely overgrown onto and crowding out the vines next to it. I'm placing at 15 feet this year on our newest vines
What size wick do you use for this size jar? I am brand new. Haven't even bought my stuff. I am just trying to find out how to and what I need. The wick size seems to be important from what I have watched so far but nobody is saying how to figure that out, And last question, what is the temperature for adding the essential oils?
It just needs to be tall enough for the container you are using. It will sit on the base and needs to raise an inch above the top to be safe. If the container is very big, consider using 3 or more wicks. I added the oil when it was starting to cool a bit but not solidifying yet.
👍⚾️thxs great info
Thank you for acknowledging a soy allergy! I am deathly allergic to soy also. I have recently started making beeswax candles because my husband loves candles and would buy them and burn them in the house without realizing they were soy candles. I am breaking him of buying them by making my own but getting a good enough scent for him has been a chore. I only use essential oils for scents and due to a coconut allergy I can't add coconut oil to my candles
It so wish I could have soy candles because there are so many great smelling ones made with essential oils. I’m glad you figured it out though!
Yay another ohio gardening CZcamsr!!!!! I’m so jazzed more Ohioans are popping up !!!
I love in van burns and my nephews name is grace
What kind of tape for top and bottom? Would need it to be uv resistant
The tape is sold by the company that makes the plastic. It’s designed specifically for it
Just found your channel i live in northern ohio can't wait to binge and learn
Love it thanks
Chickens require a lot of calcium & protein. When they are allowed to free range thru a farm yard, for example, they can acquire the necessary protein from picking thru dung from other farm animals or going into a treed area to scratch through the leaves for worms, grubs, etc, HOWEVER, if they are fenced with only greens to pic from where are they getting the calcium and protein they require?
We are purposefully adding materials into their fenced in area that attract a variety of bugs for this very purpose 👍
