If you think about it, 329 compared to 340 EPA miles on a full charge makes sense since regen braking will often help make up for the difference in range the most. I’ve done road trips in Teslas before and I almost always arrive with more range than expected.

I got my m3p last friday and have put 1200 miles on it so far, was expecting the seats to be more comfortable. its crazy the amount of pull it has at high speeds, you go from 80-140 SO fast

For long distance trips, supercharge speed is more important than EPA range. I heard the Performance Panasonic battery charges faster than the Long Range’s LG battery.

Pittsburgh highways and suburbs have absolutely awful roads. They are always perpetually under construction, and there are potholes everywhere. Always traffic just a terrible place to live.

I was able to get mine before both price increases, and I got the $7500 off. Glad I ordered right away. But you are spot on, the M3P is the better option of the two, it just makes sense. I'm sure you have LOTS of regrets, but it is what it is. Good video.

Also, the resale might be better down the line if you decide to sell it in a few years. There will be less of the M3P on the road than the LR models, I'd keep it, but just saying. The new range has been updated to 303 on a full charge.

Camry Hybrid goes 630 miles on a tank of gas. And 5 minutes to refill tank. Tesla cannot compare to that !

if your trip is 400 miles and long range can go ~300 miles why did you charge to 100% at home ? you could have charged to 90% and it wouldnt have made a big difference it seems. Just curious

My 2024 Model 3 Long Range gets 333 miles on a full charge, too, and not 341 miles. I'm new to Tesla, and I'm not sure if the 8 miles are reserved for 0% battery.

For EV newbies, 329 miles at 100% charged is a reflection of this driver's driving style and environment (freeway/city driving mix)and has very little to do with the EPA range. Other drivers with different driving variables will get a slightly different number at 100%. Tesla navigation with remaining battery % at destination is a much better indicator of your range than the mile number indicator at the top of screen.

45% remaining is amazing after 180 miles in a real world situation. I'd typically stop every 3 to 3.5 hrs even in a gas car, so this easily outdoes my need to stretch, use the toilet and/or get food.
