Did you have to bother to get FAA approval for this, is there a carveout for these kinds of beyond line of sight flights, or is there just not enough enforcement after the fact to need to bother (e.g. breaking the law videos with cars or bikers on the road leading to arrests once discovered)? Also, was this a programmed flight path, or was it a true ad hoc exploration with live reactions from live camera feeds over a seemingly impossible long range, high altitude distance? Asking from the perspective of a finance, business person who is/has been involved in some commercial drone investments, and this defines what I thought could be possible. I got the impression that this was a precalculated path and the drone was positioned ahead of time, days or weeks in advance and took off from a dock after an automatic or manual trigger. Whatever the case, stunning and mesmerizing footage, and also very impressed with the display of professionalism and timing!
