this srt4 had an upgraded fuel system i found a date of 2016 on the hose but I'm not sure what they were thinking but I'm here to make it better and more reliable adding a new fuel rail bigger inline pump all new hose and upgraded wiring. I go over all the fittings needed and how to install the lines on the the different kinds of hose that were used

the nightmare continues had a head and side marker light out and it was time to change it up to blue hid's and some bright yellow led fog lights found some wiring that needed some repair and replaced some plug ends and gave this thing a bath

well figuring out what is damaged in the suspension rear end damage we replaced the track bar and seen the control arms were bent also so all were replaced and there's still an issue and its hard to be-leave the rear differential housing is bent

My 2004 blows white smoke under boost and tail pipes are black. I’m adding around a quart of oil per week. Replaced turbo and valve seals already.

Nothing new, show us how to remove the bolt without removing the manifold. I replace the usual breakers before they fail sometimes every 2 years after a good inspection.
And I thought I had a problem with all the parts I have laying around

tight they not really anything that you need to be picky about torquing..
I have one on my car how do you think i can get the top cap come off because now I'd like to change my shifter knob but its really on there and i dont wnat to mess it up so i can reuse it
the stock knob will need to be broken to remove it its glued together from factory the mpx knob is reusable as its milled out of aluminum and the cap is held on with an o-ring and has a hole to be able to pry it off you will need a new oem knob

What is the weight difference between the mpx headers and cat vs stock?
I never thought to weight it but the large cast stock pipe and cat if i were to guess weigh more If your looking for one i have this one available light use
@@Mattsneedforspeed Unfortunately, I am the type of person who also has to consider the weight difference as well (considering the cost). I have not found any weights yet otherwise on stock vs the mpx unit(s).
After playing email tag with someone from Modern Performance, it seems as though it may be a 5-8lb weight difference. For some reason, they (Modern Performance) do not compare said differences.
Hi, I recently purchased a used MFJ-826B. MFJ ENTREPRISES customer service confirmed to me that a complete reset was necessary. Then, you may not have noticed it but in AM/FM modulation the frequency counter displays the correct frequency perfectly. On the other hand, in SSB it fluctuates when you modulate. WHY ? Based on my CB MOBILE tests, the problem came from the stability of the 13.8v power supply of my KL-203P linear amplifier (motor stopped), so I installed a 13.8v 15A voltage regulator transformer. Same in my fixed station, during SSB modulation, the stabilized power supply must be able to perfectly follow the fluctuations in energy consumption requested by the TX/linear amplifier. If your stabilized switching power supply is not able to follow the fluctuations in energy consumption during SSB modulation, then you will have measurement anomalies on any MFJ DIGITAL SWR METER! IMPORTANT: I believe that your DOSY SWR POWER METER displays the correct frequency because it is powered by an external power source, but the MFJ826B is powered by the energy delivered by modulation (TX/linear amplifier) . My opinion is that all DIGITAL SWR-METERS, regardless of the manufacturer's brand, must have their "linear TX/amp" powered by a regulated power source capable of responding to fluctuations (rapid rise in energy consumption during SSB modulation). Please note that by default the MFJ826B is configured to display peak power (PEAK). It must be set to an “AVERAGE POWER” display. Sincerely
I know your video is kind of old, but do you recall how many differnt bolt length the differential cover has?
@ 3:28 i show there's 3 different length bolts and the 4th is 2 bolt studs that get the nuts for the snubber

Matt - do you have any videos of you removing the gears to replace the blocker rings? I've searched youtube high and low for someone doing that
no i didn't make on on doing just that but if they are new soak them like it did i have a video on pulling the gears off the shafts it will be the same and just install new rings on the reassembly as im learning more ill be making more videos on the transmissions
Do you have a recommendation for a good street-able clutch that will handle 400 ft lbs and not be too harsh to drive. My clutch slips in 4th and 5th....5th at a couple pounds and less than half throttle. I like ACT clutches and looking at a heavy duty with full face disc. I just don't want it to wear the fork and ball too quickly. Should I go segmented or pucked or do you recommend a better combo? Thanks for any input and for your videos!!
its a give and take the srt4 gear ball or even stock and an agp4 fork will out live a clutch to stay street-able i recommend the act single disc as you will still have good street driveablity in stop and go traffic and it will hold up a puck disc will have less slip and be more grabby more on or off then the full face disc im putting in a link to the act on modern there is info in there on what torque the disc's will hold www.modernperformance.com/product/ACT_XT_Series_Clutch_w_Flywheel_03-05_SRT4/03-05-neon-srt-4-drivetrain-clutches-and-flywheels

Hey Matt quick question, if the red vacuum line was capped and not connected would the cause a overboost code cause mine throw the code p1188 (overboosting) throughs? Lmk and thank you
if the red hose is capped off it at the pipe or solenoid and tip is connected it will cause a code as the tip need to see outside air pressure be open
@@Mattsneedforspeed will that also cause a boosting issues, I’m only boosting 5-8psi and I have no boost leaks but the black vacuum line going to the intake pipe leak air through it when I’m boost testing it, is that normal or is there supposed to be no air going through it?

yes a stock size filter will fit after removing the cooler
I did that conversion, and that.s with a 351W engine. Had a small upper, but had to remove the valve cover to install the booster. The problem I had was it was hard to get to the number 8 spark plug. So I ended up going to a hydroboost set up, which had it's own issues, but now works very well. Now there is a ton of room between the hydroboost unit and the engine...
id love a built 351w im sure that makes for a fun car..
@@Mattsneedforspeed Here is more information to add to the fun. It's a stroked 390W and also has a vortech supercharger that produces just over 5 pounds of boost. While I was working it was my daily driver, and averaged 17 mpg.

I currently own 4 but one will be for parts, but I'm always looking for more. I've worked on enough of them i don't keep count and parted lots of badly damaged ones it could be around 80 in the last 10-12 years

How is the room? I have a family of 4 and are traveling 13.5 hours lol
we we drove from pa to Dallas Texas we did make some stops in between around a 20 hr drive i have reserved a Nissan maxima but got this for me to compare it to that there was less room and at my height of 6ft it would not be a fun ride in the back seat i was impressed with the mpg this car got most i felt it was more of a sporty car with 4 doors and not much back seat room.

Well there was a couple of things missing in that video that are important #1 you have to clean the cosmaline oil off of the rotors or the pads won't seat #2 you need to clean the rust off of the hub so it won't build up and the rotor could wobble. #3 you need to clean the rust off of the places where the hard ware goes on the caliper brackets and replace the hard ware. #4 you need to remove the caliper slide pins clean and lube and reinstall. Just a thought so you don't have problems down the road !

yes and no it will bolt up but it does not have the little green pressure sensor on the back end of the compressor you could possibly swap it out with the one from the nsrt4 i just never need to try that yet
On your Mpx oil filter adapter vidio you used a red grease What’s that called the name of it and is it bad if it gets inside the oil ports? What’s a good alternative to it also incase I gotta grab some grease locally that is fine to use thanks
high temp wheel bearing grease it will brake down in oil rtv and silicone sealant will clog oil ports if you don't have grease can use wd40 to spray the rubber part of the gasket
What’s up Matt. I got a transmission leak that’s coming right from the case split, like where a rear main seal would leak. Already resealed the axle housing and shifter linkage, did new axle seal on passenger side. Do you have any Idea what it could be? I didn’t think it could be the differential housing, maybe check the speedometer sensor?
if you say rear main seal im guessing inside the bell housing it could be the input shaft seal or the output shaft bearing has moved in the case and the shaft wore a hole into the bell, but ive had to reseal the spedo gear housing can be done in the car but if its the diff cover the trans will need removed remember to only use Anaerobic Gasket Maker no silicone or rtv.
@@Mattsneedforspeed yea it’s dripping atf from transmission in area where a rear main seal would leak. Inside of bell housing was dry. I’m thinking maybe speed sensor because I noticed connector was wet, and maybe it’s leaking down and going forward due to the curve on the transmission
So much junk. A radio is USELESS unless it's useful. NONE of these are anything special, and 90% of them probably don't work anymore due being left unused for years. Recap's anyone??
