I haven't heard this song for......oh,maybe 30 years ? It made me drift back to softer,happier times. I've found her again after 52 years & her spell still works,as does this song.......

Eric Woolfson had this unique purity in his voice that you believed anything he sang was the absolute truth.

He also sang lead vocal on many of the APP’s greatest hits including ‘Eye in the Sky’, ‘Time’ and ‘Don’t Answer Me’. He played keyboards on practically every APP track recorded. He was also the manager of the APP and handled all the business side. It was his decision to call it ‘The Alan Parsons Project’ - a choice he often described as both the best and worst in his career. The best because he got to enjoy the success of his work without any of the fame. The worst in that generally no one outside the music industry had a clue who he was!

It's funny how the witchery chain of women's clothing stores didn't really want to use this as a commercial jingle to advertise their products because it could have helped them sell more products maybe if they just used the chorus and because the song was from little river band who were at their peak it seemed like a win, win situation but maybe the lyrics which say things like if you're looking for romance I'm not giving you the chance with me and I know about your deeds and heard of all your needs little demon and then throw in the percussion embellishment which sounds like a rattle snake 🐍 going into a pot of boiling water a witches 🧙‍♀️ brew all of these things add humour to this song maybe the witchery management decided on those grounds not to use the song they could have used it as like a Halloween promotional every time they wanted to discount their products 😉 😜

Just stop calling them underrated it's so annoying How can you call a band that hit no. 1 on the billboard hot 100 twice underrated when there is actually underrated bands out there who got no where with good music I love ELO a lot but they aren't underrated stop calling them that

ELO were never underrated! I've never met anyone who says they don't like at least a few of their songs! Biggest band of the 70s!
