😠As of today, my calls are just getting dropped by this phone. Or, when I dial out, it attempts to dial out for 15 minutes then will drop the call. I paid $300+ for the Kyocera and my cheap $60.00 Schok flip phone out performs the Kyocera phone!😠😠😠

I own one and it is less than a year old and IT FREEZES UP ON ME! When it freezes up I cannot call out, I cannot text, I cannot listen to messages! I can turn it off and on and that does not fix it. I have to wait for it to fix itself which is usually around 15 minutes a few times a week and is random. The speaker and clarity is excellent.

ur doin the right thing. if you ever go back to the smartphone just remember it wont do everything.

to curb the social ediction you could buy a cat s22 flip. also the fact the device is made in japan is amazing. they literally make all the best stuff over there no matter what it is.

Love it except for how easily it rusts (cutting the tomatoe made my eye twitch lol)and the kydex is loose without a little work and it can be switched from left to right just twist the straps up and around.works great!

You know what annoys me, I have a Light Phone 2 (Dumb Phone) I go into my iPhone for something like email or something non-social media purpose, and then I get distracted on something else. I am not much for social media anyway, I never understood them. I mean I loooooved MySpace but I think it's cause there was always something to do on it. But after the fall of it all that facebook crap is for the birds, IG is over rated. Like I said, I don't get it. BUT YOUTUUUUUUUBE!!! I really need to figure this crap out. and stay way!

Im on that exact same one wth

I finally bit the bullet and got a flip phone to try to curb my out of control doom scrolling and social media addiction. I went through two Nokias and a Sonim XP3plus before settling on a CAT S22 (sorry about the returns, Amazon). I needed a phone that could still run the messaging apps I need to keep in touch, and a reasonable camera. The CAT does that, and so far (four days in) I'm doing okay and already achieving far more. Other than doom scrolling, I was constantly picking up my smartphone to choose another song on CZcams, so I threw some batteries in an old radio I had lying around, and that's been great when I'm working in the garage. To limit my time online (because I can access Google, and I still don't trust my willpower), I got a $10 a month T-mobile plan with only 1gb of data. Fingers crossed this finally helps me to be more present in my life.

Glad you made the switch! I don't know what it's like to have a smartphone (I never had one), but I do know from personal experience that Kyocera duraxv phones are unbreakable and have immortal battery lives.

I just swithced over to the kyocera duraxv Extreme Plus last week, I use the calendar linked to my Microsoft account, and it works well, just for viewing I enter most data through my MS 365 account
